"The location of the inn is in fact very pretty, the room is very spacious and we had a river view lower level room. Yet, the kitchen can be better - there are just 2 stove heads that work. I cannot find a bigger bowl to wash my vegetables, nor even a ladle for soup. One of the bath towels did not smell very clean. If the above inadequacy can be corrected, I will say that it could be a good place to stay."

"Our upstairs balcony room was exquisite! It is literally on the Siuslaw River! The view was beautiful with the fog rolling in in the morning and night and then burning off during the day. The rooms are what used to be a RR station and have been upfitted with enough modern conveniences that you won't be disappointed - surprised, but not disappointed. "We loved this property- SO pretty! We stayed in the Vanilla Villa and it was so beautifully done. Rustic cabin with mid century decor, and super cute finishing touches. There is a full kitchen that was super useful especially if you are traveling with kids. With an absolutely stunning panoramic view of the gorgeous lake. "There is no a/c at this property but front desk had a box fan we used. Room very hot upon check-in. There are no windows to open - just a slider onto the balcony. These need screens so the room can cool off. We had that open and the door to the room open to cool it off. Room was clean and sunset from the balcony was amazing. Restaurant was good. Laundry facilities need cleaning and elevator needs a new floor. Staff was great."

"Location was okay. The room smelled strongly of bleach when we went in, so we thought it was clean. The fixtures in the bathroom and the sink were clean. However, the floors were filthy. We walked around barefoot and the bottoms of our feet were covered in black grime. I included a picture of my socks that shows the filth that was on them after walking around for 5".
