"The hotel was clean and staff were friendly"

"Room was outdated and not as clean as it should’ve been. There are no elevators so we were going up and down 3-4 flights of stairs daily and with luggage. A staff member did help to bring bags up upon arriving. Other than that, our stay was fantastic!! Nice staff. Beautiful salt water pool with plenty of lounge seating. Several restaurants, shops and casino a few steps away! Super convenient and lively without being noisy. After 10pm things really settled down in the area. Great experience. Would highly recommend "

"We had a wonderful experience at The Royal Sea Aquarium. We couldn't make it to Curacao on the dates we were booked at the Sea Aquarium because our plane needed some maintenance and we missed our connection. The resort changed the dates for our stay( it was not refundable) and we were able to fly to Curaçao few weeks later and enjoy our vacation. We are forever grateful to the resort for helping us out and changing our reservation. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts. The resort is clean, well maintained. Rooms were very spacious, gorgeous, comfortable beds ,clean crisp linens and towels. Sunset view from resort is amazing. We had the one bedroom with ocean view it was lovely. Highly recommend if you are looking for a relaxing laid back stay with private beach, which by the way is absolutely stunning. Clean,quiet, gorgeous close to everything. We will be back. "

"The staff was amazing the beach was beautiful they had activities planned everyday we went to turtle beach it wasnt as great but the resort and the staff were amazing would recommend eating at roses downtown also its delicious. Really the staff at the resort and the people of the island make it memorable. "

"We do a lot of traveling and this was by far our worst experience ever with a stay anywhere in the world. We reserved a first floor unit many months in advance because we are in our 60s and have mobility issues and do not want to climb stairs. However when we showed up we were told that the only unit available was a second floor unit with a long flight of stairs to get to it. We asked about our first floor unit and we were told it was not available even though the property did not look crowded. Our second huge issue was the fact that this property was described as air conditioned but it turns out that only applied to the bedroom and it only applied at night. It was like an oven in there and we were told not to run the air conditioning until night, just to open the window even though it was hot and humid and there was no breeze. in addition the furniture around the pool was broken and just in general the property looked rundown. We tried working with the property management and they were not at all interested in addressing these issues and also expedia did not stand behind us in terms of wanting a refund for this misrepresented property. We were forced to find another accommodation at additional expense. We will think twice before using expedia to book a stay in the future."
