"The hotel was very basic and is old. The room smelled moldy. It felt like an old motel that had been revamped about 20 years ago. The "breakfast" that was included was "grab-and-go", and consisted of bagels with cream cheese and two kinds of cereal as well as milk, coffee, and tea. There was no place to sit down. The rooms are not very private as the window is exposed to the street. Overall, decent hotel, but overpriced."
"We have stayed at this property many times, with different owners over the last 15 years. This most recent ownerships has updated the property with notable improvements. The room decor is newer and quite lovely. We appreciated the comfortable chairs on our deck that faced the water and the Newport bridge. The outdoor dining space is much improved, as well."
