"Though we enjoyed our family trip as our boys visited Galveston beach for the first time, our experience with Holiday Club was lacking. For some reason, the master bathroom toilet was left uncleaned with old dried up feces and urine. The most devastating part was almost half of our trip was spent without power. Upon checking out, the power was still off and we were left with wet clothes from the washer and had to find a nearby laundry mat to dry our clothes. Though the staff responded when...

"This hotel advertises that gives breakfast but after you check in and asked what time the breakfast in the morning that’s when they tell you that they are not offering breakfast, plus the room was dirty and the trash can still having trashes from the others guess, also when you open the door of the room you can smell the mold. This place is horrible, I think that I need my money back!"

"No coffee pot in room. No breakfast. People above us on 3rd floor made a lot of noise!! Will not stay again! Beds were double not queen."

"We were given a handicap accessible room. We did not require this but were fine with this. The bathroom had no handicap accessories, so it is a good thing we did not require these. Not only were there no towel bars in the bathroom at all, there were no grab bars in the bathroom or shower. There was not a place to put soap or shampoo in the shower either. The breakfast was staffed by one person, who had difficulty keeping food replenished, emptying trash, etc. The desk was often with out anyone...

"The room we stayed in smelled of mold really bad. They were supposed to get someone to look into it but they never showed up. House keeping never came to clean our rooms the three days we were there. We had to track down some extra towels. They also charged us for parking for three day although I self parked."
