Excellent family and tourist experience
Excellent property for family, majestic outer decor, and superb view of JSM fort from 1st floor rooms and terrace. Close proximity to tourist destinations and railway station. Decent pool (small size) and menu options. Don't mind the approach road as you will get a good safe and nice hotel stay. Children play activities options are none, except for the pool.

Great location and helpful staff
Great location outside the old city center, yet within walking distance. Amazing views of the fort. Rooms are very good and comfortable. A good choice for an independent traveler looking for comfort with the adventures within reach.

expectation vs reality
the hotel advertised buffet breakfast which was not available on the first day of the stay, they did hav a buffet breakfast on the second day. also the hotel does not tell u anywherre on the web site that they are vegetarian.. only when you try to order do u figure out they serve only veg food. otherwise the hotel is ok....

GOLDEN HAVELI
Room is nice and comfortable and the staff are really helpful. There are only 3 negatives : 1. Hot water was an issue, it was only hot for a couple of hours in the morning. 2. Part of the hotel is not yet finished and there are some building debris. 3. Bathroom cleanliness wasn't up to scratch and the towels are off colour and stained.

Value for money
The hotel is not very far from the hotel, they have car pick up and will arrange trips and desert safaris. The price for this requires some bargaining, but they arrange the trip well. There is a roof top restaurant with a good view of the fort, food is quite okay and reasonably priced. Power failure seemed to occur sometimes and there is a generator back up. They got us a driver who was very helpful. Overall, quite a good place with good value for money

if you want a clean, slightly away from the center of town ok. if you go in hot weather (I was 45 º) I would recommend other most central, not noisy pool. expensive because it is basic

my partner and I stayed there
my partner and I stayed there for 3 nights, the staff were very helpfull and helped with tours and other local travel advice. Roof top restaurant has excellent views of the fort at the front and the desert behind the hotel. They served great vegetarian food and staff looked after us. Victor from Australia

You arrive up a dusty track to a newly refurbished hotel on the edge of the desert. Excellent location just 20 minutes stroll to Jaisalmer fort. Rooms were of a high standard, although no view due to the high wall keeping the desert out. Meals were limited as some items we chose were unavailable but with the restaurant located on the roof terrace with views of the fort and desert could not be beaten.

Disgusting and terrible place
This place should not be used as a hotel also considering the price it’s not worth it. The lobby and common areas smell of urine. The doors to the rooms are light which means it’s very noisy in the rooms until late night. The place is not clean, we had only boiling hot water in the shower and overall it’s just disgusting and overpriced. I cannot believe hotels.com has this property on their site.

prima hotel, vlakbij Jaisalmer
Begin oktober 2011 een aantal dagen in dit nieuwe hotel overnacht. Prima kamer, lekker ruim. Het eten is goed, de mensen zijn aardig. Het hotel ligt buiten de oude stad; moet je dus wel naar toe lopen (10 min.), of een autoriksja nemen. Voordeel daarvan is wel: lekker rustig!
