"The property looked nice driving up but the interior needs to be updated. My room was on the 1st floor and the hallway floors were uneven and seem well worn. The room was ok, clean but a tiny TV and the pillows were not even standard size,more like throw pillows. Luckily,I always bring my own. The phone was old and there was a DVD player in the room, so yes some updates could help. I didn't realize the restaurant was going to be closed through the end of the year, so we had to leave to get dinner. I was looking forward to having dinner and a drink after arriving. The gym was clean with a good offering of equipment and the pool and jacuzzi looked nice. There was also an area with fire pits on the 1st floor that groups were sitting around. It wasn't a bad stay, just left me wanting a little more."

"The staff are very helpful. The place is clean and neat. It is decorated for fall & Halloween. Breakfast is basic with plenty of teas, cocoa & coffee. We were looking for a place to sleep, near where we were spending the weekend. This worked well."

"My solo stay at the Inn at Ellis River was absolutely wonderful. I stayed in the Nancy Cascades room, and the bed was remarkably comfortable—providing the best rest after long days spent out exploring. The made-to-order breakfast was delicious and provided a wonderful start to every morning. What truly sets this place apart, though, is the hospitality: the owners and staff made me feel exceptionally welcome, comfortable, and well cared for throughout my stay. I couldn't have asked for a better getaway!"

"We Entered as Guests and Truly Left as Friends The Inn at Jackson was one of the highlights of our trip. From the moment we arrived, the inn felt warm, comfortable, and genuinely welcoming. JP, the innkeeper, was friendly, helpful, and always ready with great advice. Owner Anthony welcomed us personally and gave us a grand tour of this magnificent historic inn, sharing its history, unique features, and his best recommendations for things to see and do around Jackson. Our room was beautiful, the bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the jetted tub was amazing after a full day of hiking. The gathering spaces are rich, warm, and homey, with the kind of character that cannot be manufactured. Breakfast was homemade and excellent. We enjoyed French toast, blueberry pancakes with real maple syrup, and perfectly prepared omelets. It was clear that real care went into every detail. The location is also ideal. You can easily walk into Jackson while still enjoying the peaceful atmosphere of the inn. Their motto is, “Enter as our guest…leave as our friend.” That is not just a slogan. It perfectly describes our experience. Anthony and JP made us feel instantly at home, and we would absolutely stay here again."
