"Great last minute stay. They were so friendly, accommodating, and the place was great. We had our doggie with us, she loved hanging on the balcony looking at the beach. We could walk right out to the beach, the showers were right there and the volley ball as well. The bar was amazing! Best martini!!! Our teenage son had an amazing time riding his bike to all of the shops that were so close by. Ice cream right across the street, amazing coffee less than a block away. "

"It was a wonderful stay !! Easy access to beach , onsite restaurant , mini store inside the property , easy parking . Everything was so so convenient. The staffs are very much accommodating , we reached few hours before actual check in time and obviously rooms won’t be ready so early for checking in . But staffs in reception allow me to park my vehicle so that I can access the beach meanwhile without any hassle. Really appreciate it !! "

"I’ve stayed at a few properties on Virginia Beach over the years and none I’d go back to. However, The Capes is on my list of hotels I’d rebook. The rooms were clean; the property was clean. The indoor pool was warm and seemed pretty clean. They offer an on-site restaurant. I did not try this time around so I can’t speak to the food there. They also offer ample parking that is easily accessible. I guess if I were to offer one thing I’d like to see, it’d be a soap rack in the shower or towel rack...

"Excellent customer check-in. People seem to genuinely enjoy working here - and for a holiday weekend that's saying something! Parking was easy. Even though our room wasn't ready when we arrived (early - like 12 noon - I get it), the front office lady checked us in, welcomed us, gave us our parking pass, explained that we could access all the amenities (exercise room, pool, etc.). I like that the pool has designated adult swim times (2 hours in morning; 2 hours in evening), so it's not overrun...

"Angie’s cottage was a great place to stay! My family had a great time! The place was super clean, the housekeeping staff were great making sure we had everything we needed! The owner Steve is a great guy! He was very personable and had great suggestions on things to do in the area! This place is like a 2 minute walk to the beach, which was so nice!
