"Lovely! "

"their hospitality is awsome!"

"My family of 3 stayed two nights at Hinodeya and it was a wonderful experience all around! This was our first visit to the Izu-Penninsula and we had such a great time. The owner and staff were so kind and accommodating, truly good spirits in this generational owned ryokan. The baths were very relaxing, the entire place was very clean and good spirits all around. If you’re looking for a family run experience vs. a corporate hotel, I highly suggest staying. Also, their massage chair is...

"Great hotel, not loads to do in surrounding area but good for a spa retreat"

"One of the most incredible stays of my life. The resort is beautiful with lots of onsens. The staff were very sweet and professional. They were very accommodating to upgrade my room for my honeymoon. The breakfast and dinner is soooo delicious. Highly recommend"

"Amazing place to relax. All super clean and staff always ready to help. Loved the onsen in the room."

"Good rates for a short stay"

"The room was very spacious, clean and new. I just wish they had cutlery and some cooking utensils, as they have a full kitchen. The onsen facilities are very good, and they also have sauna. The hotel is beautiful and the views fantastic. There is not public transportation to reach the hotel."

"Wonderful host!"

"Staff were so helpful. The room was in good size with private onsen. Dinner was good."

"Amazing historical hotel with famous golf course. Groups are well kept despite the old age of the resort. Nice pools and good food."

"The hotel shuttle was very convenient, the food was very good, and we had tempura, which is one of the best in Japan ."

"Excellent for dogs and staff were very accomodating. We had an amazing stay!"

I rather wish I had booked the other one. It’s not that this place is bad….but it’s not really worth the price either. To start with, we booked a non smoking room. But when I checked the property details on this website, it said I booked a smoking room. The staff assured me they would change it when I called them. But...

"Better service, good location"

"Had a wonderful relaxing time at this rural guesthouse. The private onsen in the room was so convenient and you could use it at anytime. I enjoyed conversing with the owner and look forward to visiting again in the future."
