My fiancée and I had the most incredible holiday at Perantzada in Ithaca. It was our first visit to Greece and we already want to go back! Vathy is a gorgeous town and the people there are so nice also mentioning the gorgeous restaurants and landscape. Big shout out to the hotel staff Katerina, Aris, Boris, Alketa, Vera and Elvina for making our time so special. They were so welcoming and always remembered personal touches which was so special! The food, drinks and rooms were all incredible! Poolside evening wines were another highlight. Not forgetting our favourite Paloma, the hotel cat who is a lovely addition and we already miss her so much! If you visit Ithaca, definitely recommend staying with the lovely team at Perantzada 😁

Service was brilliant. We arrived early but were immediately accommodated which made a real difference. View from the hotel and our room was stunning. Pool was great. Breakfast delicious. Vathy itself was also relaxing and calm.

The lady who met us was so lovely and kind. We felt very welcome. The breakfast was lovely and very high quality. The only thing that could be improved was the shower which wasn’t particularly hot and the pressure wasn’t great, but I would stay here again in an instant regardless.

Perantzada was the centerpiece of my time on Ithaca. The hotel is absolutely stunning, with bright blue walls, flowers everywhere, breathtaking views over the harbor, and the perfect location—just a short walk into town while still feeling peaceful and tucked away. Our room and balcony were spectacular for relaxing or watching the sunset with a spritz. Most afternoons were spent lounging by the beautiful pool (with Paloma, the sweetest poolside snuggle kitty, making every day even better). What truly makes Perantzada so special, though, is the people. Katarina, Aris, Panos, and the entire team welcomed my girlfriends and me with such genuine warmth that we immediately felt comfortable, safe, and like part of the community. We genuinely didn't want to say goodbye when it was time to leave. One of my favorite moments was meeting guests who have been returning every year for nearly 30 years. After spending time here, I completely understand why. Perantzada is so much more than a beautiful hotel—it's a place that stays with you long after you leave. It made us fall even more in love with Greece, and we can't wait to come back.

We had a great stay at Perantzada Hotel. The location is perfect, with everything within easy walking distance, making it a really good base for exploring Ithaca. What really stood out, though, was the staff. Caterina (sorry if I’ve spelt your name wrong) and the rest of the team were fantastic. They were really warm and welcoming, and always happy to help without being over the top. Their local tips were brilliant, and they gave us great recommendations for places to visit, restaurants and things to do, which made the whole trip feel really easy and well looked after. The hotel itself is lovely and well kept, with a relaxed vibe that made it easy to switch off. We’d definitely stay here again and would happily recommend it to anyone visiting Ithaca.

Beautiful! Stayed in Red Passion for a night and it was remarkable. Just a bit too expensive for the size, and the location. Stayed another night just two minutes from here with a bigger room for almost a hundred dollars less and I’d argue it had a much better view.
This window led to a balcony situation but the other rooms windows could see you and come there too

Beautiful Tranquil Romantic Idealic Spot

We loved this hotel. Came for a wedding locally. Room was large, and had amazing view across the bay. My only quibble would be that the room does not have night curtains to cut out the light and the shutters are slatterd letting a lot of light in the morning. Otherwise a perfect place in a very peaceful setting with great food options very close to the hotel. Park on the main street beside the rental boat stations on the water's edge and walk up a small staircase to get to the hotel

A destination wedding hotel

The place was great. I stayed one night in Ithaca. I came there and the staff was friendly and gave me a drink. Adonis showed me around. The woman behind the desk recommended I not see Odysseus’ palace as I would waste my time cause it is under continual repairs. You are a few minutes walk from the town square and there was a lot to do. The hotel is in an alleyway but don’t let it fool you. It is what you think of with a destination wedding hotel. The room was comfortable and it is clean. I would stay here again.
