Ok. Average guesthouse, not a hotel per say. Good service. Spacious rooms, I like how they have multiple sitting and table areas, plus kitchen and free laundry services. #12 bus right outside, takes you to the ferry port plus other places. Rooms could be cleaner. Safe was not working. In a local area on a hill, about 10-12 min walk up from the Uskudar pier. Places to eat starting at about the 6 min walk down the hill.

We were assured individual beds, but nobody received these and all guests were required to share beds. Poorly run place and when we tried to contact them before the trip they were very slow to respond.

Nice place on Asain side
We had spent a week on European side and decided to stay 3 extra nights on Asian side. Hotel is about a 10min walk from ferry or train station, nice size rooms, good staff, clean and comfortable bed . Plenty of nice places to eat on this side as well. We went back over to the Spice market again - very easy just a ferry ride and a couple of mins walk. It was also very easy to get to Otogar bus terminal when we left - we caught the train under the Bosphorus 3 stops then a subway to bus terminal We would stay again

Very comfortable stay
Very comfortable stay. Clean. Good quality bedding, towels, pillows. Friendly staff. Will definitely stay here when I return. Book garden facing if you want less noise which is what we did.

The staff is superb. It’s a family owned operation, always met with a smile and offer to help. They speak very good English, I would definitely stay there again.

The bosphorus hotel was a rating of 5 out of 10 clean hotel room though bed sheets won’t changed the 6 nights we stayed. Staff were abit arrogant and the price on the website was different to when we got to the hotel. Wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

Dear Seyda You reservation was made for 29.10.2018 and you came to hotel at 08:00 AM, although on interntet pages check in is clearly accentuated as 14:00 PM. We couldn't make your check in becouse we had guest in room which you made resrvation for whic can use the room until 12:00, and after that we done everything to make your check in early, and after guest checked out , you made your check in at 10:00 AM. İf we come to the bad sheets, 5 of your 6 days staying in the hotel you put the red card on your rooms door which shows that you don't want a cleaning for the room. You booked 5 nights from the internet and your card was charged for 6 nights becauce you extended your stay for one extra night, so you card was not charged more then price on your booking, except one extra night which you booked in the hotel. However, hope that you understand our answer and we done everything make your stay-in comfortable. Best regards

I am very familiar with this area for decades, and the neighborhood was missing such a hotel. I am glad they now have it. We spent a very comfortable three days, and another night a week later in the same two neighboring rooms. The carpets are in desperate need of replacements, but the manager informed us they are aware of the issue and have new carpets on order. Otherwise, everything was great. Ask for "garden view", as "city view" faces a very busy street with all of the noise associated with it. Thank you Bosphorus House!

Great Location!
Our room was lovely and big and very clean. The carpet wasn't stuck down in a few places so had to be careful not to trip up. Although our booking was for a family of 4, the dining table was only laid up for 2, including 2 chairs! Our children slept on the sofa bed which was fine but with only a single duvet on it, the first nights sleep wasn't great as the children kept pulling the duvet off each other in the night. A second duvet was soon requested the following morning!! Only 2 bath towels were supplied as well. The hotel supply hand wash, shampoo, conditioner and shower gel(tiny bottles) however it would have been nice to have some complimentary tea/coffee/sugar in our room to go with the kettle. There is a supermarket opposite the hotel that came in useful for drinks/water etc. We enquired about breakfast but they said they don't supply that as they have to order it in from outside and deliver to your room which was too much hassle apparently. The hotel is on a main busy street which is quite noisy, but the electric blind outside helped with the noise and light. I would be happy to take my family back to this hotel again in the future, but I would be a little bit more prepared to take a few essentials with me.

Great Neighborhood, Terrible Night Staff
The location of the Bosphorus Apartments is spectacular - they are located in a local neighborhood with little, if any, tourist traffic. It's about a ten minute walk to the ferry and metro terminal, making travel within the city convenient and easy. The area felt rather safe at night, although there was one demonstration during our six-night stay, it was contained and not very loud. The major disappointment we had with the hotel was the thinness of the walls. Next door to us, the family had a child that screamed all day - no exaggeration! Early in the morning to the night, no matter the hour, that child was screaming, and we filed multiple noise complaints but the staff on call did absolutely nothing. The internet was spotty at best - again, we complained, and the employee did not help us until the next day. The hotel would have been at least four stars without the terrible neighbors we had, which could have been ameliorated by a proactive staff. Also, the maids would constantly move our stuff around and take stuff from the room. One night, we returned our room to find no pillows! The next night, the duvet had disappeared. It was strange and inconvenient, and we had to keep asking for this stuff to not be taken from our room. I've traveled quite a bit, but that was a new one for me! If you have kids, this is the place to go. However, probably not the best choice for couples looking for a romantic and quiet getaway.

Great place, great price !
Bilal (the manager) is the real deal. Great host, always helpful, does his very best to make your stay a memorable one. And he succeeds... Only 10 minutes from the Marmaray and 10 more minutes to Sulthanamet. You will not regret going there. Turkish friendliness at its best. We will be back for sure !!!

Memorable stay on Asian side.
Fantastic Location, just 5 minutes from the ferry station and Margaret station. Lots of Local shops, restaurants and bazaars around. The rooms are good, serviced everyday and clean. Dolmus taxis available to go to Kadikoy round the corner. A couple of supermarkets just next to the apartments and the bus stop is just in front. Very convenient location and adequate facilities for families. The reception was always manned and they spoke English. Recommended.
