Everything you would need for a great stay in Istanbul for a couple. Great service, great food (Tershane is an excellent restaurant with great service and value - avoid Galata bridge fish restaurants!), despite being on a very busy (and entertaining) road, the windows block all the noise out. Nice little seating area and good size, clean rooms. Just be careful when booking a transfer, quite pricey, think we accidentally got VIP transfer so cost 50 euros! Clarify before booking.

Very Central
The Hotel is in a wonderful position, but of course very noisy being in the middle of the city. The Staff were very friendly, but we had a big problem with people wanting to help, and saying "yes" when it very quickly became obvious they did not understand what we had asked. This went through the hotel from front desk to restaurant. I stress they were wanting to help and polite, just our communication in english was amusing, so be patient and smile. The room we booked looked out onto the sea, and the bed and linen was very comfortable. The room, although non-smoking, stunk of cigarettes so the windows need to stay open. The bathroom was well equipped, and the tv had english channels. Internet was fast. Breakfast was very nice each morning, and held in the restaurant on the top level looking out onto the sea and old city. The tram stop is only 100 metres from the Hotel, as is a Ferry stop. I would be happy to stay here again. Thankyou Momento Golden Horn

We did not get the room we had booked via Expedia but instead got the correct room type on a lower floor meaning the view out to the bridge was blocked by an old tower blocked across the road. When we asked we need the room we had booked, they said 'hotel fully booked' and no other explanation was given. I had booked this room on the 7th of January and our stay was for 4 nights from 23rd of May 2023!! We feel the hotel gives preference to others and very unfairly treated especially as we had paid the maximum rate as shown on Expedia website. Basically, the photos mis represent what you would get when you get there. Otherwise, the staff are very friendly and courteous. Restaurant on top floor has stunning views looking towards the city and all the mosques but price is a little high for what we ate. This is expected as I assume they charge more as the views out are amazing.

Great location - easy walking distance to all the sites. Great breakfast - large variety, many daily changes. Room cleaned well every day, with fresh towels. Good sea view from 5th floor.

Nice hotel with amazing views
Really nice hotel located by the Golden Horn, walking distance from Galata and the metro stations. Views from4/5th floors up are almost unabscured - restaurant at the top offers great breakfast and also amazing views. Room was nice and beds comfy - I would stay there again

We had the most wonderful and perfect 3 night stay at Momento. The location can't be beat, it's in the middle of everything and metro stations are literally right next to the door. Staff and management are top notch especially Sedat and Eran. Thanks so much for making our visit to Istanbul perfect! Highly recommended and we definitely would stay there again!

The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our entire stay. We loved our room - great view and very clean! We loved having a morning coffee and a sunset drink at the rooftop bar! The location was very central - easy to get to different parts of the city via public transit, ferry, or walking. I would definitely stay here again!

The hotel itself is ok… however, the front desk staff is extremely dodgy… trying to play games, saying the reservation isn’t there, even though it is, trying to scam my colleague into “upgrading” the room for extra $50, when I’m fact being already had that “lux” room, not wiling to call the cab for us before we left, just absolutely horrible

Amazing honeymoon stay!
We had an exceptional experience staying here on our honeymoon! Service was great and they kindly decorated our room with balloons and petals and gave us the best view of the golden horn where you can see the galata bridge, Hagia Sofia, and suleymaniye mosque. Some people complain about the random old building that blocks some of the view but we thought it added character. The rooftop view is even more stunning and the restaurant is excellent (get the lamb kebap with shallots and pomegranate!) Cool bathroom too where you can shower and take in the view! Loved the Juliet balcony. Bed was super comfortable. Serdar and Eren were very kind employees.

The hotel is located very close to the Golden Horn area within easy travelling to all the sights. The hotel is very nice and the staff were outstanding. This is my 'go to' hotel when staying in Istanbul.

Asked for a sea view but it was obstructed by an ugly tall buildings which seemed to be some kind of warehouse. The street itself is pretty poor, but excellent location for links to metro, boat or simply walking. The room itself didn't have a working usb port and the staff made no attempt to fix it. The staff are lovely, breakfast is great and really cheap (relative to the UK), where I paid 190 lira for two people. Great views from the restaurant too. The balcony door didn't close properly so you could hear a lot of traffic. I probably wouldn't stay here again, but that's just because I'm picky when it comes to my accommodation and I think the small things matter.

Great hotel
Very centrally located, nice view of the Bosporus, walk to ferry, shopping and dining. Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Lovely buffet breakfast on roof terrace overlooking the city and water. Highly recommend this hotel

Good hotel for a quick night stay in Istanbul
Good hotel, staff was eager to assist in any way they could. View was fantastic and the best part of staying at this hotel. The room I was in was cramped but I believe other rooms may have been bigger. There was a weird smell in the bathroom but nothing too crazy. Breakfast was sufficient but the view made it phenomenal. Good location, steps to tram to go to Sultanahmet one way or Taksim the other. Traffic noises were somewhat bothersome. Overall I’d say it’s a good hotel if you need to stay for a night or two on a budget but don’t want to sacrifice a nice view (actually I’d call it breathtaking).
