We booked the panoramic ocean view room. Upon check in, we were placed in the cheapest room (garden room). I asked the front desk and showed them my printed confirmation of what I booked and that the room we were given did not match and they said they would “upgrade” us the following night. On the second night they moved us to the room we initially booked. It was not an upgrade it was just what we paid for. We asked to be refunded the difference for the 1st night and they said there was nothing they could do for us and that it was an “error” with Expedia. I have used Expedia for 13 years in several different countries and never had an Expedia error.
Also, the first night when we were placed in the incorrect room, the shower-head did not work what so ever. The second night, the room was great but due to the staff’s response to our booking, I would not stay here again.
