1. GuestHouse Lugano University

GuestHouse Lugano University
2.0 star property
Molino Nuovo
7.6 out of 10, Good, (49 reviews)
"At 65 and 67 yrs , we found the climb up to room 8 with luggage difficult. Consider that when booking. Bed was rather uncomfortable, and I believe we were instructed to leave the room as we found - ie-dishes clean but there was no dish tray or towel to dry. Best as a spot for younger people. It’s an easy walk from the train station but a heck of an uphill walk back. Most important. Clean and quiet . Tks"

"Very happy with Icon. Entrance and access were convenient and easy, location very good, with bus stops within a 2-3 minute walk, the Lido/Cassarate area only 12-15 minute walk, and downtown only a 20-minute or so walk. The building was modern, and accommodation was very nice. Murphy bed very comfy, good kitchen and a very good bathroom with a rain showerhead. Nothing but nice things to say...we really loved it! "

"We left check-in a bit too late which came a faff as we were approaching the property on public transport. You need to check-in to obtain an entry code for the building and your room. Our own fault - we should have read the instructions earlier and checked-in to get the code. All good in the end though - the apartment was immaculate, well sited for access across the city and we'd certainly recommend to others and would revisit."

Filario Hotel & Residences

Filario Hotel & Residences

10/10 Excellent
"No issues...just personal items that are very specific to me as a frequent traveler. the gym has no airflow. I was the only one in it and it was 10 degrees hotter 10 mins into my run. It has 2 treadmills, an elliptical and a rower which take up most of the space, Dumbells from 1-25 lbs in 2.5 increments and a bench. The amount of small dumbs are useless to 90% of the people that look for them. Go at least to 50 lbs and get rid of the 2.5,7.5 increments. Can two of the cardio and put in a smith machine. Again...this is a small personal item.....but I would look at another hotel in this category that had a better gym next time. 1 small (very small issue).....more choice for wine by the glass. As a couple that only I drink, would be nice to have more than 3 choices."

Frequently asked questions

Can I find holiday rentals in Isone?

Yes, there are holiday rentals close to the most popular sights in Isone, or you can select a more secluded option if you're looking for a relaxing stay. Isone is known for its mountain views.

What’s there to see and do in Isone?

While exploring the area, visit family-friendly sights like Splash and Spa, or get outside and enjoy nature at Tenero - Sport Center. In the wider area, you’ll find Monte Tamaro Cable Car and Three Castles of Bellinzona.

What’s a holiday rental in Isone like?

Holiday rentals are private properties where you can stay for a few weeks, or just a few days, in Isone. Holiday rentals provide amenities like laundry facilities and kitchens so you'll have a home away from home. If you're concerned about a sanitised environment, a holiday rental can provide a sense of safety away from shared hotel lifts and bustling concierge desks while still allowing you a great travel experience. You'll also find more space in a holiday rental than in a hotel, which makes a holiday rental a popular choice for a small group gathering.
