"Room and en-suite all very modern and very comfortable bed. Breakfast was a triumph and special shout out to the young woman serving at breakfast who was extremely pleasant and friendly with everyone- sorry I can’t recall her name."

"A pleasant property, though not quite the experience we expected The inn is a lovely, well-presented property and it is clear that considerable care has gone into maintaining high standards. However, we felt that the overall experience did not quite match our expectations of a five-star stay. The welcome was somewhat formal, and we would have appreciated a little more warmth and friendliness. There are also house rules which, while understandable, felt rather strict and perhaps took away slightly from the relaxed atmosphere one might hope for when staying at an inn. Overall, the property itself is attractive and well cared for, but for us the hospitality did not quite reach the level suggested by its five-star rating."

"Nice comfortable and clean overnight stay. If you have any need for internet don't come here. Otherwise we had a large comfortable room with a large bath. The bed was super firm and old but we were very tired. The burger food truck just next door is awesome. As mentioned the internet is super slow whether in the lobby or room. There is no lift so be prepared to carry bags up. Also safety note: if you plan to be driving to/from Glasgow at night (or even in daylight) be super careful. Many deer just along the roadway and we saw at least 4 dead road kill driving in the early morning to Glasgow."

"Very friendly, helpful & knowledgeable management & staff. Excellent choice if whiskies. Delicious food although choice a little limited for a 4 night stay. Brilliant location Only negative was the lack of standard housekeeping."
