DO NOT STAY HERE. I paid in full and never received a refund when THEY canceled my reservation. To be clear, I didn't cancel, WANDERCAMP canceled. I have made 6 different phone calls and someone supposedly emailed Expedia to refund my money, but it never happened. DO NOT STAY HERE UNLESS YOU FEEL LIKE THROWING MONEY AWAY!

Beautiful Skyline
Was exactly what was promised, a big secure clean tent with a comfy bed on a beautiful property. If you’re expecting your own bathroom, you didn’t read that this is camping. Bed was comfy and warm for 40 degree weather that we came dressed warm for. We rented a heater but didn’t need it. We were given to small charged lanterns. The property night skyline was beautiful! Jocelyn and her parents were very nice.Whoever set up that Bathroom/shower trailer needs some training because it was not on even ground so it was in my opinion unsafe.We did not stay the second or third night and found a nice little motel in Ashton Idaho.

Well, there was no fresh water. That should have been made clear on your website before I booked. They did not take calls all day, which was incredibly frustrating while traveling on a motorcycle. More, they tried charging me $8 for a bath towel !!! . . . which is something else that should have been explained at booking. They employees were polite, and these issues where all management driven.

I arrived at 6:30 and they didn’t have a room ready for me. 40 minutes later they gave me a twin bed instead of a king. The bathrooms were filthy the first night but clean the second night. There was a foot wide stream of water in front of the communal toilets. the driveway was a minefield. There’s two ratty looking trailers at the entrance that don’t seem to fit well with the term Glamping. Nothing glamorous about those ratty trailers. The zipper was broken on my tent, and the small lantern had not been charged.

The bed and tent were very comfortable. I stayed in mid September where it’d get cold at night but that wasn’t really an issue. The location is very quiet for the most part. I say for the most part because you’re near a cattle ranch and the cows can get fairly loud. Finding the location can be a challenge, so be sure to look on the company’s website because google maps will take you to an incorrect location. There are coordinates to the gate on the website so be sure to find those before coming or you’ll have some difficulty. You do not get a towel, and in fact they charge you for it which is a bit silly given that it’s the most basic of amenities. That, and the water does not heat up in the shower, so be prepared for that. There are also no electrical outlets anywhere on the camp, so bring either an external battery or have the correct plugs in your car to charge whatever devices you bring. Overall I’d give this place a 3.5/5. It has great potential and just needs a little more investment to get it there.

The communication of this site was terrible. It was difficult to locate in the pitch dark and online maps takes you down a private dead end road. We drive around until we finally found the location. When we arrived, despite checking in online, our tent number was not provided. We needed to call the main number to finally have the tent number sent. The local staff was helpful once they showed up to help. The tents themselves were very nice and beds comfortable. However, the biggest draw back is the location of Wander Camp next to a highway. We could hear trucks grinding gears throughout the night and cars whizzing by at high speeds. Terrible for seeping and no sense of “getting away from it all.” For the price we paid, this was a poor choice all around.

This is a great option for anyone traveling on a budget that just needs a place to crash. The tent was spacious, clean and nicely laid out. Bathrooms were ok, showers cold. Nice view from the campsite. Good value for money.

If you’re looking for a unique opportunity, you should try this! Wander Camp was great. The husband and wife running the operation were friendly, helpful with local eateries and hot spots for wildlife viewing. The tents were clean and the king, a great size for two and a dog. Our weekend visit was one we hope to repeat, great sites and a cool experience you should try!

This is a great location and good value for lodging when going to Yellowstone. It's a bit on the rustic side as far as the area and the bathrooms. There were showers, but they were cold. The beds were super comfortable and the chairs and tables were great. The tent we were in was ripped where the supports were anchored in places, but after experiencing a strong wind storm while we were there it is totally understandable. We would definitely stay there again. The hosts were great and doing their very best. Bathrooms were a bit hard to get into as they required stepping up a 3 step ladder with no handrails. If you have mobility challenges it would be difficult. The setting is really pretty and peaceful as long as your fellow campers are quiet and respectful. We easily met and visited with people surrounding us which is great if you are social. Not much to do after dark, which is great for going to bed early! we were

We did NOT stay at the tent. While it was raining a little, it had already flooded the tent and was very cold in the evening when we tried to check in. The situation in the tent was way worse than we expected. We had to drive tens of miles to find another emergency place on demand to stay overnight - One can imagine the stress that evening. We are asking for a refund now.

Comfortable bed with heavy blankets and several pillows. Clean, dry tent with rug and chairs. Compact, centrally located shower and toilet stalls. Great sunsets. Road into the camping area gets a little swampy after rain. Grazing cows on site. Good first glamping experience.

Arrived and our bed was soaked with water. We also prepaid for a heater which was not provided even when we texted the number we were given. Terrible night. Don’t bother pre paying for any of their extras it’s a SCAM

The tent is well furnished, roomy and weatherproof. Camp needs more bathrooms. It was maybe 1/4 capacity when I was there and there was a wait for the bathrooms evening and morning. Road in is horrible after rain and needs more gravel. There was one big garbage bag behind the bathrooms and no other garbage bins in site for campers use. It was overpriced for the amenities included.

The place is nice in the fields full of sagebrush and cows with comfortable bed. However, the facilities could be better, offering more options as is very limited. In addition, check-in is via application that does not meet security standards (credit card scan). Hence, not good value for money and I don’t recommend, especially for a longer stay.

The camp felt like it is very new and popped up in a great location. Because it is new, a few basics are not there such as the bathroom facilities or a basic map to guide you to your tent. We arrived late and had been given a tent number but no way to find it other than shine our headlights on numerous others.

The views were amazing. The tents clean and the beds very comfortable. The only thing I didn't like about this place was the bathroom situation. 4 bathrooms for this many people was not sufficient. The bathrooms were quickly filthy. The door locks were not functioning properly so you didn't always know if they were occupied or not and the uncertainty of if you were going to be walked in on was unnerving.

Cute tents but not as advertised
The good - the bedding was clean and the tent tidy. The bad - the showers were muddy (who is wearing shoes in a shower) and there was always a line for the bathroom. They charge for the heater rentals - which shows are free on the website. The website also advertises breakfast and dinner, but we had to drive into town for our meals. I was supposed to get a welcome email after booking but didn’t. I tried relying on GPS but it took me to the wrong place. Big fiasco with that.
