Waking up in a vineyard with beautiful views is such a different experience. The rooms are well laid out and very clean. The breakfast is very good and the whole place has a relaxed feeling to it with the soft music in the restaurant. The restaurant also serves dinner and it was well priced. They have a lake as well and during the time we were there, we were given a free wine tour as well as a boat ride on the lake. We were fortunate that the hotel very kindly arranged our transfer from our other hotel in central Tirana and our onward airport transfer. The airport is about 45mins away and closer to the hotel that Tirana town, so I can see it being a great relaxing start to a trip.

Die Anlage verfügt über keine gekennzeichnete Rezeption, sodass wir von einem Mitarbeiter in die „Villa“ geführt wurden. Der erste Eindruck war durchdachtes, modernes Design und ein mit Smarthome gesteuerter, geräumiger Cube (Wohnwürfel) inmitten von Weinbergen. Der Service beim Frühstück beschränkte sich auf die freundliche Anwesenheit des Personals. Den Roomservice haben wir ebenfalls nur durch die Anwesenheit wahrgenommen. Bei fünf Nächten wurde lediglich zweimal das Zimmer aufgeräumt und Handtücher gewechsel auf Nachfrage. Die „Villen“ wurden teilweise zwei Monate vor unserem Bezug in Betrieb genommen, was zu einigen Kinderkrankheiten führte. Es gab Probleme mit der Beleuchtung und den Installationen (WC-Spülung, Dusche, etc.) in der Villa. Leider war das Personal nicht sehr entgegenkommend bei der Behebung dieser Beanstandungen. Die Kommunikation mit dem Personal auf Englisch erwies sich als schwierig. Bei der Reservierungsadministration im Resort gibt es erhebliche Mängel. Der Check-in erfolgte quasi bei Handschlag. Die Buchhaltung konnte reservierte Zahlungen nicht vom Reiseanbieter abfordern, sodass wir freundlich, aber betont aufgefordert wurden, die Rechnung nochmals vor Ort zu begleichen. Nach Vorlage der Originalrechnung des Reiseanbieters und der Abbuchung durch die Kreditkartenfirma wurde jedoch stillschweigend davon abgesehen. Zusammengefasst lässt sich sagen: Viel Luft nach oben und "Es ist nicht alles Gold, was glänzt".
