"Most of it was fine but the bathroom situation was a ridiculous. Mainly, the shower and makeup mirror seem to have been installed by someone who has never used either one. The makeup mirror was fixed to a pole in the wall above the toilet so one would have to crouch on top of the toilet if one wanted to use it unless well over 6 ft tall in which case they might have been able to lean over sufficiently against the toilet. I don't know I'm closer to avg female height. That is fairly minor but worth mentioning how completely useless it was. The shower was the real problem. The holder for the shower head did not rotate so it only pointed out at a 90 degree angle and could only be lowered to the point at pointing at my forehead. Unfortunately the weird folding door they had set up had major seams that leaked so the only way to ensure you did NOT flood the entire bathroom while showering was to crouch in against the back corner of the enclosure - very uncomfortable. The necessity of it always being in the hand and having to press into the walls made showering extremely unpleasant. I expected a lot more from a '4 star' hotel. Installing a simple holder that allows one to angle the shower head down would have helped so much and is a very simple fix. Every 3 star hotel I stayed at seemed to have it figured out. Showering should not be that stressful or complicated. All fixes are simple and inexpensive so hopefully they will do so."
"We stayed in one of the very charming characteristics rooms! Everything was great and staff were incredibly friendly. Breakfast was good. We travelled with our baby and we're given a good cot for her.
Unfortunately we weren't able to park in the garage, as it was full. There was also an old fridge in the room that didn't work - it would have been really useful to have one that did."
"Incredible stay - we were especially impressed with the included breakfast! Close walk to a lot of the highlights in town as well. Would highly reccomend!"
"A really clean and friendly hotel just as you enter the walled old town. It has its own parking just across the road at a very reasonable 10 euros a night. Breakfast was simple but plentiful. Mike, the host was very helpful, even carrying a case up 2 flights of stairs. But top of the class goes to Lara, his daughter who was an exceptional breakfast host. Thank you so much for making our stay as pleasant as it was."
"The hotel is about a 15 min walk from the train station and shops and about 20 min walk from the famous bridge! Enjoyed all the amenities and the room had a beautiful view. Will book again if I’m ever in the area."
"Hotel is short walk from old town centre and the old bridge. The public car park expensive at 20 EUR per night.
Bar is quite nice. Did not try the restaurant as plenty of other places nearby"
