"We only stayed one night but it was very clean and nice. They had people outside in the lobby and sidewalk area having drinks as a social gathering. I would recommend staying there."

"Dona Marguerita uma senhora de 84 anos muito simpática que faz de tudo para ajudar os seus clientes. Não tem como se sentir em casa. Toda manhã vc acorda e a mesa café da manhã já está repleta, no período da tarde nos chamávamos para tomar um cafezinho… tudo de bom. Já se hospedamos 2 vezes lá e com certeza se voltarmos para o Rio já sabemos onde vamos se hospedar de novo. Agora localidade muito bem centralizada, 3 quadras do mar,( praia de Ipanema ) algumas quadras da lagoa, proximo da estação...

The place itself is very well located, but the bunkers are not very solid and are made from light wood (I was on the top one and all night waking up because every time the guest underneath me moved, the whole bed moved too). The communal shower is also very tight. Overall, budget friendly for backpackers who don't mind a certain degree of discomfort "

"Good location -near the beach , Lagoa, shopping ,and plenty of nearby bars and restaurants . Beach towels and umbrella provided. Rooftop bar area a bit disappointing. "

"La realidad es que no me fue dado un apartamento en Avenida Vieira Souto 500 sino en el edificio lindero sito en el número 510; pero ambos son edificios con servicios muy similares.- La ubicación es excelente.-"

"When I arrived I was put on a lower floor , it was disgusting and wasn’t prepared to sleep dirt bed and bathroom, it was like 1920 . The reception staff were amazing and moved me to a better room ( average) but better. Breakfast was great and the top floor views "

"We stayed last minute after a cancelled flight so was just a place to rest for a few hours. Room sad and tired and old. Staff at check in not overly friendly but the breakfast staff lovely. It’s not luxurious but at that price I guess can’t be surprised. Bed was comfy despite the room looking in need of improvement. "
