Drakos Twons is conveniently located by Mylopotas Beach. While you shouldn't expect a luxury stay, it is great value, and the room is adequately ewiipped with all thee essentials. The staff is friendly and welcoming. I would definitely reccomend staying here.

The Drakes Twins is a great location in Ios! Close to all amenities, clean, and very friendly staff. My only issue is Expedia continually messed up me accommodations.

Pleasant stay

I enjoyed my stay. The hotel is almost by the beach, central and good connected. The stuff is friendly and made my room fast in order to check in. It is pricy for what they offer though (almost 100 euros per night) and the amenities that the room has, which is actually nothing. I understand that Ios is a busy island on July though.

I booked this property on sale and i was disappointed with the size of the room. The picture on the website showed 2 single beds and we got one double bed. They were quick to add a bunk bed which left no space to move around. We had to close all lugagges everytime to go to the bathroom. If you are a couple or alone, the room will suffice but two beds is very tight, especially with the lugagges. Yes, you can hear the kitchen next door when the windows are open but with the windows closed, not a sound. The property is 5 seconds away from the beach and the staff is very friendly. Yes, there is no lobby but that didnt stop the staff to be available. The mini market is 6 seconds away (left side). In other words, if you dont mind beeing a little tight, book it. The nearby beach is amazing and the restos are good. Public bus stops you 40meters away and it takes about 15mins to get to Chora.

soggiorno ad inizio giugno. ottima posizione, ad un passo dalla spiaggia; camera piccolina ma super pulita; George e sua moglie molto gentili e disponibili. nelle vicinanze tanti piccoli locali dove cenare e fare colazione, vicinissima la fermata bus per la Chora e le altre spiagge. Ottimo rapporto qualità/ prezzo!

Posizione ottima. La struttura è letteralmente difronte alla spiaggia di Mylopotas, ci sono molti ristoranti vicini e dista a cinque minuti in macchina da Chora (capoluogo dell’isola). Camere piccole ma accoglienti. Personale gentile e sempre disponibile.

Best location in Ios

Amazing location just off the best beach in Ios. Literally a 30 second walk to the beautiful water. Right next door is the best value and best tasting resturant on the island. The owner was super friendly as well. He owns a little mini-mart where you can buy your essentials and alcohol :) Highly recommended. For the price and location you can't beat this place.

Nice and VFM place to stay.

VFM... In the center of everything, had room on top floor, good view, quiet, cleam, pleasant owner and staff, the next to it restaurant ELPIS, quality food but small portions for price. Better places in village on top. Was some problem due to our very late check in mainly due to missing data from hotels.com, but clarified with the owner George in a very friendly way. Stayed 9 days and gladly would have stayed longer.

Molto positivo se alloggiate al piano superiore mentre ai piani bassi le stanze non sono luminose. Colazione buona ma solo pane e marmellata da mangiare.Il bagno andrebbe rifatto.

Great place, best beach worst wifi

Owners were nice, hotel was cute and clean. Great view of the beach and only 10 steps from the sand. Perfect location!!! Only thing was they had the worst WiFi of all the places we stayed in Greece. We had to use the restaurants WiFi. For that reason we would book a different spot next time but we would for sure stay at that location again. That beach was incredible!

Trevligt och fräscht familjehotell vid bästa läge!

Underbart litet familjeägt hotell precis intill bästa delen av Mylopotas strand. Trevligt och hjälpsamt ägarpar liksom resten av familjen, som har Mylopotas absolut bästa och fräschaste frukost- och juicebar med goda smårätter. Liten varning dock för den som har svårt att gå i trappor. Våning två har bästa utsikten över stranden och havet, men det är tungt att gå när det är hett och man är trött i benen. George, ägaren som också har en minibutik i bottenplanet med det viktigaste, eller den superduktiga städerskan kan hjälpa till att bära upp det som är tungt. Om man ber om det.

Nice hotel close to the beach

I first visited Ios 50 years ago when this hotel (or its forerunner) was pretty much the only building on Milopotas, and the beach was equally empty - now, although the beach is overrun with hotels, sun loungers and watersports, the Drakos family still remain, old-school Cyclades style and hospitality and friendliness, yet with the modern necessities, perfect for the simple holiday life.

絕佳的位置

位於Mylopotas beach附近 出房門僅需要一分鐘就可以到達的距離 非常方便是很好的位置 很喜歡這裡 房型小但簡單乾淨 坐在門外的戶外座吹海風很舒服 樓下是房東開的餐廳 有任何需要可以到樓下跟店裡的人說 吃了果汁和pita很好吃
