"A nice hotel but really let down by the restaurant. Chicken curry with four wee tiny bits of chicken, and a tiny scoop of rice. Definite not worth the money. We weren’t the only table to complain about this. We also ordered sides which we never received. However the manager was quite understanding of our upset, and handled it very well and professionally."

The garden view suite was very large, beautifully decorated and furnished, however it had not been thoroughly dusted or vacuumed.
We had to advise the front desk of a couple of maintenance matters in our bathroom and that we needed the heating turned on and these were promptly attended to.

"Place is old. Bathroom had a major leak in the tub. I didn’t know until I got out of the shower and stepped in a giant puddle. The water was discolored and had sediments in it. Staff was rather unfriendly in comparison to the rest of people I dealt with while visiting the country. Didn’t help me much. Can hear people in hall and in rooms next door way too loud. Walls and doors aren’t sound proof. My refrigerator didn’t work."

Only one lift for a large hotel seems poor. You need to drop off your bags from the car at the entrance as otherwise there are steps to negotiate from the car park. The bar restaurant is frankly very poor in terms of noise and quality of food which arrived so quickly that it was obviously not freshly cooked and was pretty tasteless.
