Poor management

Ridiculously overpriced for what I got. I was on a rate that included dinner and breakfast. When I checked out, additionally got charged for half of dinner again. I recommend no one use this rate. For the price, you expect a nice hotel. This place does not deliver on that expectation.

Barra Beach Club

Barra Beach Club was a hidden gem. I was pleasantly surprised by the friendliness of the hotel staff. The rooms were clean, the service was good, and the location was superb. I do have a couple of recommendations for improvement: 1) Alter the side dishes for the meals--whether I ordered lunch or dinner, the meal was always accompanied with green beans. I like green beans but not with every meal for 4 days/nights straight; 2) extend the wifi to the rooms--wifi was only available in the main lobby. Even with these two recommendations for improvement, I'd rate the hotel as a solid 4 out of 5. I'd definitely return whether it be for business or pleasure!

Superior hotel and location to any in Tofo

I spent wonderful 2 weeks here. The hotel is well maintained. Sits on a stretch of quiet white sand beach. Room was lovely, quiet, spotless, everything in good condition. Meals great - breakfast I loved in particular. Staff helpful without being intrusive. Proprietors very helpful with flights, activities, meals. The beach is unspoiled and safe - great for long walks and for swimming. Diving available and great.

Nove place badly managed. Overpriced.

We enjoyed our stay overall. The staff were extemely friendly and accomodating. The food was outstanding. However the "Ocean Deluxe" had no sea view, which i thought was a bit ridiculous. There was no oversight in terms of managment and this showed. The policy if charging for coffees at dinner and water etc was extremenly shortsighted and also inconsistent depending on the day of the week.

Mismatch of hotel room pictures and the rates

Hotel.com charged me the rate for a delux suite ( larger room with separate sitting area) which was almost double that which the hotel charges for a standard room and when we arrived at the hotel we were told and shown that hotel.com/ expedia had reserved a standard room. The hotel has taken up this issue with expedia/ hotel.com and I hope a speedy resolution of the matter.

Magnifique hôtel tous conforts

Superbe hôtel au service impeccable. Le personnel et la direction sont très agréable et entièrement à notre service. Belle piscine avec des transats confortables. L'océan avec ses différentes teintes de bleus à deux pas, juste ce qu'il faut pour une petite ballade en amoureux.
