If you want to feel like you're in an old Western, park your car in Ingomar for an afternoon and just pretend you rode in on a horse or via the now-defunct railroad, the remnants of which still scatter the surrounding fields. Once a railroad stop for the Milwaukee Road line, Ingomar's population dwindled in the 1920's. It's only partially ghosted today, amid a smattering of old buildings and homesteads in various states of decay a handful of souls call the town home and the Jersey Lilly Saloon still leans tall. #Ingomar #Montana #ghosttowns #abandoned #historic #towns
