The property is beautiful and the staff are exceptional. Everyone is very welcoming and friendly. However the spa/hot tub facility was not working and this was the main reason that made me want to stay here. I wish they would have offered a part refund for the inconvenience.

My husband and I spent a week here for our anniversary. Brunnen might seem out of the way, but it is the perfect location. Close enough to sight see other locations but far enough away for peace and comfort. This property was incredible! The views were mesmerizing from every angle! The staff were so good to us and did everything they could to make our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible! Everyone was so kind and helpful! Our room was excellent, the bed was very comfortable. The cleaning was exceptional and completed every day. The breakfast buffet was the perfect start to our day, and we ended every evening in the luxurious and immaculate spa. This was by far the best hotel experience we have ever had, and I can’t see it being beaten! I absolutely cannot wait to come back to this location one day!

Hotel with spectacular view
Wonderful view of the lake from the bedroom balcony well worth the extra. The evening meal was lovely and beautifully presented. Staff friendly, professional and helpful. Strongly recommend.

Picturesque location
An amazing location for a hotel. Picturesque lake in from of the hotel that you can enjoy looking at either from you room or the restaurant and even spa. The city is a calm one, so it’s a great place for one to chill and relax.

nice hotel
clearly a posh hotel, we had a lovely view and enjoyed a meal out front. the service was excellent. will give 8/10 because no air con or extractor fan in bathroom and was just so hot and humid. also ironing room (not easy to find on 1st floor, need to take water with you) basically a pain in the butt vs having one brought to the room

Worth the drive to Brunnen. Gorgeous views.
Nice hotel, Well located. Unfortunately the beds are too hard but that is only my opinion. Another unfortunate thing was no air conditioning and it was very hot and humid. We had to leave our veranda doors open to try and keep cool but no fault of the hotel but there was noisy teenagers screaming and telling outside keeping my wife and I awake to about 1am. My recommendation would be put a security guard on the lake side to try and control these noisy people. Also would of loved to have air conditioning in our room. In all great staff, perfect location, we had the best lake view we could ask for from our room.

Unhappy and so dissatisfied and disappointed ☹️
At first a lovely quiet breathtaking hotel BUT then still lying awake at 1:30 in the morning, because of a party going on downstairs. The staff lies and drink on the job. A peaceful beautiful hotel which turns into a club at nighttime ! Staff feeling absolutely nothing for hotel guests, more important to drink with party guests ! Thank you for ending my birthday on such an extremely low point !

Good service, good food, nice views. only negative was only one electrical outlet in the room and is on the far side of the room from the bed, so you can't easily plug in your phone as use it as an alarm.

Very clean with good service in all areas of the hotel. Check in very efficient. Restaurant good with very good friendly service. Bar nice except from a personal point of view as a non smoker I did not appreciate the heavy smoke in the room. Rooms a little dated but very clean and again good service. Spa facilities very good with amazing views. All in all, would definitely return to the hotel

I stayed here for two nights and it was the best experience, the hotel staff are excellent and will do anything to make you stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be coming back again!

This was a beautiful location and we loved it. However, when we booked the trip, it showed free Wi-Fi. The Hotel went back & charged us internet access AFTER the trip was completed. I have had to dispute the charges and am not happy about them charging me after the fact. Check your bill closely.

Fantastic hotel.....Vintage aristocratic feel with beautiful views if you reserve the lake facing with balcony; only downside was there is no A/C, so in June where it is hitting 34C, HOT.

Nice place to stay, in nice location.
We had a nice room with balcony overlooking the lake. It was very convenient to everything we needed and parking was right behind the hotel. There was a wedding on our first night so it was a bit noisy and bright from the street where part of the reception was, but it wasn't terrible.

This is a grand old hotel right on the waterfront in Brunnen (the main Brunnen boat dock is literally outside the front of the hotel). Despite the passage of time, where it matters, the hotel has done a great job. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. They have astounding views (if you have a "mountain view" room and all you see is the hills behind town, crane your neck a bit and you should see the Grosser and Kleiner Mythens). The restaurants are modern. The breakfast is outstanding, with little touches that are almost knowingly ironic, like prosecco with vegetable juices on offer. The WiFi was of high quality. Their dining menu is absolutely modern and the service, just like at breakfast, is outstanding: proper and solicitous, not what it could so easily have been (stiff or snooty). In short: a delightful place, well worth the cost (which must be judged by Swiss standards), meeting and exceeding expectations, and worth a return visit.

Great Romantic Getaway
We booked this hotel for a short romantic getaway and it did not disappoint. The room was lovely especially the balcony with views over Lake Lucerne. The hotel staff were incredibly helpful, the spa as a welcome addition and the restaurant serve the lovely food.

We stayed 5 nights in the hotel. Love our room with the lake view and great breakfast every morning. Enjoy the morden spa facility - the sauna room has the view to the mountains and lake. Very quiet and comfortable.
