Just stayed for a night but would have gladly stayed longer. It was quiet and cozy and they went the extra mile to make me feel at home and comfortable. My room had a huge jet tub which was very relaxing.

Looking Glass Inn is a beautiful place! My husband and I and my two sisters with their husbands had a very enjoyable stay. We attended a wedding at Bottleneck Hotel and it was relaxing to spent time relaxing at the hotel.
We had a delightful overnight stay. Our room, the Willow room, was both elegant and comfortable. Staff was very helpful and friendly. The cold buffet breakfast provided a nice start to the day.
The property was beautiful. A house that was built in 1805 it doesn't get any better then that. The Willow Room is the best....blue and positioned in the front of the house.
The staff was great! They knew we were in town for a concert and they made it extra special by playing the artists music during breakfast and gave us each a small gift.
Super charming and comfortable accommodations. Staff was great, wifi was fast, loved the snacks available late night, and breakfast was very nice. The staff recommended a restaurant an 8 min walk away and it was also excellent.
The stay was great! However we were only there one night! The only thing that could be better is having an option for something warm for breakfast. The Inn is in a goid locution! Nice historic area! Would like to stay longer next time.

Friendly Innkeeper
The innkeeper was friendly and the property was nicely decorated. Breakfast was your standard continental. The flooring on the side entry is in need of replacement and I wished we had the mini fridge in our room because I forgot to go down the hall to retrieve my food from the mini fridge when I departed. Rooms were very today but sheets are scratchy.
Beautiful historic home in an equally beautiful and historic neighborhood. Walking distance to President Benjamin Harrison home, Morris-Butler house, and area restaurants. It is safe and quiet with easy on-street parking.
Beautiful well kept older house in a beautiful historical neighborhood. Very quiet and peaceful. We ordered dinner and dinned on front porch. Would love to return some time
We were in town for the Indianapolis Monumental Marathon. The Looking Glass Inn was close (6 minute drive) to the start of the race. No traffic on race morning. Plus, it is close to restaurants for the night before. The neighborhood is beautiful, and we will stay here again!
This is a beautiful historic building in a lovely, quiet and neighborhood. The home is over 100 years old and as much of the original decor and furniture as possible has been maintained. Needed updates, such as a large shower stall, were well done. Each floor has a butler's pantry where you have access to a refrigerator, hot and cold water, variety of beverages, and free microwave popcorn.
I thought the Continental breakfast was excellent, including juice, fruit, hard cooked eggs, yogurt and a large variety of breads and pastries. However, my husband was very disappointed that there were no cooked offerings.
The innkeeper recommended that we go to the Tinker Street restaurant for dinner. It was within easy walking distance of the inn so we didn't have to deal with moving the car and parking. It was a wonderful recommendation. We had a peach and burrata salad, crab scampi, and their signature dessert homemade ricotta donuts. It was all excellent.
Our only concern about the Looking Glass Inn is that we thought the room might be too warm at night. Although the shared areas of the building were air-conditioned, the rooms are not. And we were unable to open the window to get fresh air. Fortunately, by evening the outside temperature had dropped enough that it wasn't uncomfortable.
Pros: cleanest place ever, beautiful property, easy check in, thoughtful/tasteful room design, easy entry. Loved the access to ice and filtered water. Nice pillows.
Cons: the best was VERY uncomfortable. Whenever one of us moved the other one rolled to the center of the mattress. The water pressure was extremely low in the shower. That might not bother everyone. Also, I was expecting a breakfast, rather than just a little continental. It’s okay, it’s just not what I’m used to from B and Bs.
The staff was fine. The bed in the Willow Room was very soft and uncomfortable to the point that sleep was very difficult. We had a conference that started at 8;00 so we needed to eat breakfast promptly at 7:00 as advertised, only to not serving did not occur until 7:15, making us late to the conference session.... probably not return.
A lovely property with one big problem: the HVAC system emits a loud, high frequency droning noise that is inescapable on the second floor. Thankfully, the innkeeper was able to relocate us to the one bedroom available on the first floor, where we escaped the noise and had a good stay. The neighborhood is lovely, the location is convenient, breakfast was good, and street parking was easy to find.
