"The Bristlecone Motel is a great inexpensive place to recover from your adventures on Highway 395. The amenities include a TV monitor, small fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. The bed was reasonably comfortable and the AC/Heater unit gave us some cool air and white noise to make our sleep restful. The friendly staff are found in the gas station next door and the parking is close your room. I would recommend this hotel if you need a decent crash pad."

"This 101 year old hotel has been updated and completely renovated. Our room and bathroom were tastefully decorated; and the hotel lobby was lovely. The bed was amazing. We loved the simplicity of this hotel i.e.: no television, no refrig or micro, good simple healthy breakfast with excellent coffee and teas. The simplicity takes you out of the modern experience and brings the imagination back to yester year. We enjoyed the time reading without the noise. The staff and owners were very pleasant and helpful. As we always say: SIMPLICITY IS THE KEY TO GREATNESS. God willing we will stay here again."

"The hotel was great, and the key code access made check-in very easy. It’s in a perfect location right off the road, making it an ideal stop during a trip.
