Large spacious villas with everything we needed, the most comfortable resort/motel bed I have ever slept in, super quiet away from the hustle & bustle of the busy main areas, but close enough to the main township of Avarua, within easy walking distance to bus stop & amenities. Friendly staff, nothing was an issue. We loved our stay here & will definitely return when visiting Rarotonga again!"

"Really good value. Everything was new or great condition. The kitchen has an air fryer and electric frying pan. The pool is very nice but as we were so close to Black Rock we mostly swam at the beach. The information provided by the hosts prior to our arrival was very useful. "Very enjoyable stay"

"Kristina and her staff were great. Super friendly and helpful. The back villa came with amazing views with loungers and a table and chairs to enjoy the raised deck views. Bikes and kayaks were available for use and allowed us to see three turtles in the lagoon while paddling on three separate days. Loungers were also available for use on the beach. The night market was only steps away which made dining easy when we had no car available. We did rent a Muri Shores vehicle they had available at the...

"Enjoy everything about the place love the beautiful mountains the view was breathtaking fresh air. And hearing the roosters alarm meeting the locals so lovely offering me a ride to the main road. "A little oasis in lush gardens, a lovely private pool area and all the amenities set up for a perfect laid back island holiday. Neil is a wonderful host and super helpful and friendly. We stayed in the upper level 2 bed apartments which is large, comfortable and perfect to chill on the huge balcony. Just perfect. Rarotonga is a beautiful island with loads of beach bars, restaurants and activities by day. A trip to Aitutaki is a MUST. See you next time Neil! Suze n Tracy"

"We really loved our stay at Mama Tara’s. Was very clean & had most of what we needed. The only problem we had was poor communication, no directions & found no signage. Some lovely locals helped us immensely as it was late at night when we arrived.. Thank goodness! Would definitely stay again xx"
