"Although it was very cold the staff went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and provided a heater A bit disappointing was the restaurant was closed they required 24 hrs notice There was a excellent pub just 5 minute drive away The breakfast was very good again excellent staff provided a full English We had a lovely massage followed by a drink in front of a blazing fire and a very pleasant dinner"

"Room was clean, spacious, and quiet. Restaurant food is very good. We had breakfast (included) and dinner (E295pp for 3 course set menu). The grounds are beautiful with several cows roaming around. The drive up to reception is quite long (felt like about 2-3km) but donโ€™t worry, youโ€™re on the right track! Youโ€™ll meet several cows on that road too so donโ€™t go too fast! Overall an idyllic setting. "
