"I stayed at this resort for one week over the New Year holiday with a group of friends. While we were excited to celebrate at the property, our experience was unfortunately disappointing. The customer service at the front desk was unacceptable. Several staff members were dismissive and rude during our interactions, and one of the managers we encountered displayed the same unprofessional behavior. "It’s not the hotel you see in the pictures. It’s the quiet building to the side. I wished I had access to the big pool, but you need a shuttle. The rooftop was insane. The Friday night barbecue was ok, as some of the food just sat out. The shrimp I ate, for example was dried out and tasteless. I liked my suite as they upgraded me, but I felt I was missing the “grand resort” feel of the Eko Hotel, not Eko Suites. I would try Eko Hotel with beach/lagoon view with balcony next time."

"I was quite impressed with the quality and maintenance of the facilities. The shower was a particular delight - the best rainfall shower i have used in a hotel for long time! Everyone from the parking lot attendant, the reception staff to the lift attendants were friendly, polite and helpful. The complimentary breakfast had a wide variety and was quite tasty. Outside space overlooking the lagoon was my favourite. I could stay there all day. Breakfast menu offered a really good selection. They even had gluten free options. Tons of pastries, cut fruit options were mainly pineapple, watermelon, orange and papaya. The orange was hard, and I did see mango once. Would be good to...

"Excellent breakfast selection with variety of sweet and savoury dishes. Top notch helpful and professional staff apart from one who confronted us about attempting to take a muffin to eat later. Location is near good transportation. "

"I stayed at the Eko Gardens, which must be their original hotel. The only issue I had was the smell of mold, not just in the room but also in the foyer. The room was lovely, spacious and comfortable with lovely leather furniture. It was a good rate for the room with the pool and restaurants in the newer hotel available for use. There is a shuttle available, but only a few minute stroll will get you there, with a gift shop on the way to pick up souvenirs. I would definitely stay again!"
