"The hotel was great value for price and located in the exclusive Ikoyi area. The staff were all great!. Breakfast can be better, though. Most mornings, it was cold, and we had to microwave food."

Breakfast had a decent variety and the Surface Bar & Grill by the lagoon was a great place to unwind. Overall, a solid choice for both business and leisure stays in Lagos. "I had an excellent stay at The Wheatbaker. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, with spotless bathroomswhich is always a must for me. Breakfast was lovely, offering a good selection of fruits, continental options, and African-style dishes. I especially appreciated being able to order fresh coffee in the mornings. The restaurant food was so good that I often chose to dine in the hotel most evenings. Room service is available 24 hours, and the bar is fantastic with creative cocktails and a great wine list. The location is convenient and in a nice, walkable neighborhood, making it easy to get around. Most of all, the staff were exceptional—friendly, respectful, and genuinely welcoming, which made my stay even more enjoyable."
