This is a beautiful property an we plan on returning and bringing family and friends. We also will be referring it to our friends. My only suggestion is the room. It needs a hook or two for hanging your changing clothes after a shower and there is no place for a cosmetic bag. Rather it be a male or female:

This is a hidden gem! Such a beautiful place. Lots of amenities to have fun with the family. I would highly recommend for someone who wants to reconnect with nature but have some fun at the same time.

Absolutely lovely place. While I didn't use the common areas, it's great knowing they are there. The little cabins are just wonderful, and there is space to sit outside in each as far as I can tell, perfect for this beautiful weather. Highly recommend.

Everything was excellent. My only complaint is the shower head being to low and the vanity being to high ( not to code neither) other than that we loved our stay there.

Megan, So sorry that your stay was ruined by another guest, even though we don't have a 24-hour desk we do have a 24-hour number in your binder in the room and listed at the office door and our guest service team explains this at check-in. Our after-hours staff would have immediately handled this noise complaint if we had been given the opportunity.

It was a great little cabin and property for my son to get to see and play in snow for the first time ever. He also loved the bunkbeds in "his room".

We are used to apartment-like resorts and this property did not disappoint. We were able to enjoy most amenities (basketball court, swing set, tetherball, rec/ game room, gym, and small trails) on site. I eat vegan and in Idyllwild center, the majority of the restaurants served amazing food that both I and my non-vegan household were able to enjoy. We have a husky and he was welcomed everywhere which was great because leaving him in our room was discouraged by the property. We got lucky and it snowed instead of rained and that just added to the beauty of the property. The only thing that would amplify the property is if they had charging stations but there are 4 chargers at the pub (which had amazing food for humans and good protein for pups). We are looking forward to staying at this property again

I loved the first night of my three night stay because the property was almost deserted. My room was quiet and tranquil and perfect for a “retreat.” The next day, however, more people arrived, and I realized that the walls of my room were like paper. For the next two nights—and through no fault of the newer arrivals—I could hear every cough, sneeze, conversation, crying baby, low-volume TV show, etc, etc, from my neighbors on both sides. That made the experience far less retreat-like, and much more cheap motel-like. In addition—and the property keeps this fact quiet—I learned that the entire, profit-making hotel/motel is owned by a Southern Baptist college affiliated with the larger Southern Baptist … machine. I have no interest whatsoever in directly or indirectly supporting the horrid, disgusting, hypocritical Southern Baptist/white nationalist cause. Therefore, I won’t be back ever. There are so many other nice places in Idyllwild, and there’s no need to give my money to a “non-profit” (lol!), “religious” organization that supports the very worst in American society: greed, hypocrisy, the “prosperity gospel,” and white nationalism. No thanks.
