I love this place. Vault ceilings, little balcony, kitchenette, the breakfast comes in a little basket on your door in the morning-how convenient!!! It really is a gem. Simple and amazing. Bathrooms are tiny but clean and efficient.

The beds where very hard, pillows and all coverings where fine but the matrass, no box spring where very hard. contented breakfast at the room was a nice touch.

What a beautiful area. Got a phone call before we got there. Really appreciated that. Got there late and left early so we didn’t get to visit with anyone. What a drive to the bunkhouse. Very memorable experience. Would definitely stay again!!!

The property is close to town, other than that the place is updated ,we spend almost $300 dollars for a loft and the picture on the Expedia app is not accurate enough,the bathrooms are so small so uncomfortable to take a shower ,the shower curtain was so dirty.this place needs to do better.

I was very grateful to have been able to book a room here last minute and the after hour key drop and pick up situation was very handy. Walls are paper thin and I could hear my neighbors. I also accidentally messed up the wall heater, it’s an old style and because I checked in so late I wasn’t able to get it fixed and froze all night. lol my fault, but be careful!

Pleasantville
Idyllwild Bunkhouse felt like a home away from home. The staff was so friendly and when I told the owner it was my birthday he gave me a warm hug and a small gift! They were super helpful the day we left and it snowed. They provided help to get the snow off our car. They were incredibly generous with the continental breakfast.

I rented an actual cabin last year and got snowed in and couldn't get out. With Idyllwild Bunkhouse I don't have that problem. They maintain their parking spaces which makes it so easy to drive in and out on snowy days :-). The staff is so friendly and nice. Debby gave me good advise on road hazards and lend me her windshield scraper! How cool is she! Thank you so much Debby, we are definitely going back.

Our small balcony looked out into the beautiful pine forest. We were fortunate to see the snow falling from our balcony and the experience was beautiful. The staff were very attentive and friendly.

The Idyllwild Bunkhouse was the ideal spot for us. We came for a short 2 night stay to explore the town and hike the surrounding areas and had the most comfortable and cozy stay. If you're looking for a very simple and convenient location with a rugged cozy cabin feel look no further!

We enjoyed our stay a lot. The room looks very lovely with great mountain view. It’s very close to the village which is such a cute town. The manager lady is very nice and personable. The only down side is that the shower space for our room(1 queen bedroom) is pretty small. Other than that, everything is just fantastic.

It was cozy. Nice to have breakfast left at the door. They delivered donuts instead of scones. The shower never got hot but it was warm enough to shower without freezing. Took a long time for the water to warm up.

The staff is so friendly and welcoming. I love the knotty pine interior, the convenience of a kitchenette, the small balcony overlooking the forest, the basket of breakfast items (warm scones) every morning at your door.
