"The 34 mile trek up to 6000 feet elevation was scary. Do NOT drive up there via Hwy 243. It was both scary and made me sick. You can drive there via Hemet. Still a tad stressful but much better. My room smelled of gas as soon as I walked in. It was attended to but after the scariest rollercoaster ride getting there, I was like what is going on? Idyllic Idyllwild is so beautiful though. I was grateful for the experience. "

"This is an older property, but is clean, well-maintained and comfortable. The kitchen is appropriately equipped and the property is quiet. The location is a short walk from the center of town. I would stay here again. "

"Had a wonderful experience!! Cabin bigger than it looks, very clean, TONS of towels (which I respect), and it had all your basic needs. Communication from the hosts was easy and responsive! The location is absolutely perfect! Easy walk to town! The backyard is perfect for dogs but make sure to keep them leashed. We will absolutely be coming back!"

"If you’re staying here for Coachella be prepared to get the run around and deal with rude management! They charge you the full amount of your stay a week before your stay without a warning. Housekeeping NEVER came to our room the entire 4 days we stayed there and we kept asking for them to come. So they said they’d refund us a whole whopping $30 for that inconvenience and now they’re refusing to give the refund. They keep saying they did refund me and they did not. I stayed here 2 years in a row...

"Property has nice outdoor space and very close to downtown. Nice vibe-didn’t use pool area but looked nice. Had corn hole and sitting areas in addition to pool and hot tub. Room ok, bed too soft. My problem with this hotel was the quality of the towels. Totally grossed me out how gray and dingy they were. At my house those towels would be rags. Though not stained or torn, just gross."

The carpets throughout the property emitted a persistent and unpleasant odor, which significantly impacted the overall comfort of my stay. Additionally, the lack of water service during my visit was both inconvenient and unacceptable. While I did encounter two staff members who were courteous and helpful, the majority of the team appeared disengaged and unresponsive to guest needs."
