Top notch staff and restaurant. Rooms were big and elegant. Close to the Regional station made travel easier.

Highly recommend this hotel! A hidden gem!
This is a great hotel! We had a lovely room that was beautifully decorated. The hotel is in great shape and updated. The staff was great and very helpful. The restaurant served an amazing dinner. Do not miss eating at the restaurant! We will definitely go again to this hotel if we are in the area! This is a hidden gem! Only drawback was that it was too far to walk into town. Oh well! It was worth the drive to stay at this hotel.

Park Hotel
They put me in a handicap room the first night. I asked to move the next morning and they let me. The dining is very good. The bar is very popular with locals.

Especially great day staff, check-in and breakfasts were terrific. Setting is beautiful. Hotel is very well appointed. Recommend asking for a room on the side opposite the main road.

Relaxing and beautiful
The original room did not have air conditioning but when I told the maid I was too warm she immediately dropped everything and went to the desk. They moved us to a larger room on a higher floor with a/c—we’ll worth an extra $40. The restaurant is fabulous—try the schnitzel with mushroom sauce, and the pork filet is delicious. Wonderful stay in a village I first visited in 1970 (date myself much?!). Great place to find yourself after the flight from the US.

Awesome short trip
The staff were super friendly especially the night staff at the reception area. The guy at the bar was also very attentive to the customers and always serves with a smile. Breakfast buffet has a lot of choices and the kitchen crew makes your eggs for you according to how you want it. The wait staff were all very friendly and made sure the buffet is not lacking any food. The room we stayed at was very comfortable, the bathroom was clean and smells really good. Toiletries were all prepared including a vanity box with sewing kit, shower cap, nail file and cotton pads. There is also sparkling water prepared in the room complimentary to the hotel. We are definitely staying here again!

heel fijn hotel op wandelafstand van Idar. Ruime en nette kamers, met alle comfort. Vriendelijk onthaal. Let wel op, op zondag is de service beperkt en is ook het restaurant niet open. Het ontbijt was voldoende uitgebreid.

Ein sehr gepflegtes Hotel, das zwar etwas in die Jahre gekommen ist, aber alles tip top in Ordnung und sauber, die Bäder waren neu und das Frühstück als auch das Restaurant zum Abendessen waren sehr gut.

Een gedateerde aanrader zonder goede WiFi
Gastvrijheid is erg goed en de uitbater en zijn personeel zijn uiterst vriendelijk. Helaas liep wastafel van de door ons geboekte kamer niet goed leeg. Ook sliepen wij de eerste nacht heel slecht vanwege herrie onder ons raam en werden we de volgende ochtend heel vroeg gewekt door herrie in de kamer boven ons. Hierdoor vroegen wij om een hoger gelegen kamer, die ons tegen een sterk gereduceerde prijs werd aangeboden. In die kamer hebben wij de 2 nachten daarna heel goed geslapen. Het ontbijt is heel erg goed. Wat een erg prettig detail is, is dat de tafels zijn gedekt met stoffen tafellakens en servetten. Diner in het restaurant was ook heel erg goed. Belangrijk punt van aandacht is de Wi-Fi in het hotel. Hier moet een andere oplossing voor worden bedacht.

Inchecken laat op de avond leverde geen problemen op. Kamer netjes en badkamer van alle gemakken voorzien. Ontbijt goed en zeer uitgebreid.
