"This is my go-to hotel in Markham. It has everything I need for business travel, the rooms are great, everything works, a very decent buffet breakfast is included, and usually very decent pricing."

"Front desk staff could have been more engaging when checking in. Breakfast was typical minus beef burgers vs a sausage, Ham or bacon. Was not typical. Pastry choices were very limited. It was nice and clean though. "

"The pull out bed in the “suite” was broken, and I had to go ask for bedding, then make the bed myself. When I wanted to change rooms that was going to be difficult, however after much discussion and reiterating the bed was broken, we got a move. I think we were on the third floor team section, as the carpets were disgusting, the couch stained, the wall paper peeling. We were moved higher up in the building, and although not great, much better. Expedia pricing gets you the well used third...

"Room is impeccably clean and nice. But nobody answers the phone in front desk, housekeeping, everything! Huge living room but can’t afford to have microwave inside the room, there’s only one old microwave at the lobby. No signage or anything as to where you can find amenities, you have to figure it or ask around. Kinda disappoints for 4-start expensive hotel."

"some of the staff were not pleasant at all accusing us of smoking in the room, which we weren’t but refused to come to my room. I called Expedia for help and didn’t get any. The breakfast does not include eggs, bacon or hashbrowns. You have to pay extra if you want these items, there was hair that came out of the hot tub it was disgusting. The carpets are very old and worn out not a pleasant stay"

"We almost always stay at residence inn at various GTA locations. Always reliably comfortable and clean. Complementary breakfasts are always a hit with the kids! No complaints at all."

"Use side doors to access your rooms so you have ramps in case you have alot of luggage or if you have a stroller. You have to go up 2-3 to get into lobby otherwise"

"The pictures on the website are very OUTDATED! There pool and hot tub are gone, but still in the pictures of the hotel. The rooms are NOT like the ones in the pictures. The bathroom wall had paint peeling off them, the tub faucet almost came out of the wall when I turned the shower on, the toilet seat was not the correct one, the tub had stains and what looked like mold. The beds were somewhat comfortable. As for the free continental breakfast - toast, cereal and waffles.....nothing...

"While the room was clean...the building appeared to be going through renovations. As a result, the pool was closed and was told I would have to drive to another hotel in order to go for a swim. The elevator was horrible. I was in the elevator for 20 minutes because it would not stop on the desired floor."
