We arrived in Hydra at 9.30pm in an epic thunderstorm A kind person on the street helped us find the hotel in the wind and the rain and when we got there the manager had our room warmed up waiting for us. Staff were so kind and we loved our stay. Can,t recommend Achilleas enough and the whole island in general! Wonderful!

Traveling with a family, it is often very hard to find a place where everyone can have their own bed! We were able to get a lovely little room with 4 twin beds! The Pension is walking distance from the harbor and all the wonderful restaurants Hydra has to offer. We also walked to a few swim spots from the hotel. The owner was very friendly and although we were only there for 2 days, we would most definitely come back.

50 year old Solo Female Traveler - this place was great! Close enough to walk from the Ferry (even with a big heavy suitcase) - rolling bag on cobblestone was pretty ok. The staff was very helpful with allowing me to store my bags, stay an extra night, etc. Quiet neighborhood, about a 5 minute walk to the nearest corner store, restaurants are plenty. Would no hesitate to recommend this place and I will use it again next time :)

Lovely stay on beautiful Hydra

Lovely accommodation walking distance from port. Balcony views and close to restaurants. Only comment is that evening was cool , but only thin sheet and bedcover provided.

Great location + staff

Great location, easy walk from the ferry. Kind staff, excellent water pressure and soft water (Athens is very hard water!). We travelled as family with teenagers and had all we needed. Would stay again.
