"Very nice place. If you like the antique look, you'll love this place. I liked that the living room could be converted into another bedroom, since the bathroom is in the middle of the bedroom and the living room."

"This is a hidden gem. Yes, it was outdated BUT given that I started coming to Tahoe in the early 80s, I actually really appreciated the older vibe. When I arrived the keys (actual keys) were waiting for me on the office and I was able to let myself in. I loved that. The room was tidy and clean. This place is DIRECTLY across from one of the last open access beaches on the north side of the lake AND it was right next door to several great dining options. I also loved that the 7/11 was next door so I could easily get drinks and snacks. As someone who loves to run, it was easy to find a trail in the neighborhood behind the lodge. Lastly, I loved the homey vibe. It was perfect for me as a solo traveler but I could also stay here with my husband and dogs. "
You can spend an afternoon studying the exhibits at Watson Cabin Museum during your trip to Tahoe City. Stroll along the riverfront in this quaint area or seek out the ski slopes.
