"Brimslod Atelier Guesthouse was lovely. Our room was on the second floor, with a great view over the water. It was the only spacious room we had during our 10 days in iceland, and it was very comfortable. We had dinner in the onsite restaurant, and it was delicious. We were the only guests for dinner that night, so we had a chance to talk with the owner and ask questions about the area. "Staff was so friendly and greeted us upon arrival. Kitchen had everything we needed and the rooms were very clean. The pool/spa is a minute walk just down the road, the front desk lady was so nice. Definitely recommend this place to stay!"

"Nice little seaside town. The sounds of the ocean and seagulls were relaxing. Our unit was wonderfully staged with an inviting dining and living room. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking as well. Only issue was that the inside handle to the bathroom was broken and we needed help to get out. Also there was only one shower for 4 shared rooms, which could be a problem if all rooms were occupied. Host was very sweet and the price was right for Icelandic standards. "

"Nice new facility in the lodge. Check in confusing as Hotels.com said no Check in staff, contact facility directly but gave no phone number. I emailed facility and no response. Phone call to Hotels.com the day before no help either. Had to call facility once there and staff came over but if we didn't have someone with cell service, could've been a problem. "
