"Great hotel. Large comfortable room, to be honest it was a little too large! Lots of empty space which was a little wasted. Bathroom was also quite large. But the bed was comfortable. I always find Village hotel rooms a little uninspiring, the room decor is plain and functional with no frills. Facilities are always pretty good though, even though I don't often get the chance to use them unfortunately. Food is generally quite good and the choice is varied. Breakfast is more traditional but what you'd expect. I have a beef with any hotel that doesn't have fresh orange juice though, I hate watered down squash and a lot of hotels have ditched fresh juice I guess to save costs, seems very stingy to me. Not just Village hotels, lots of then in the mid-price range do this. Staff were excellent, and always are."
