"The picturesque views of the Huon River and the surrounding hills and valleys are the face of this property. It features stand-alone and self-contained cottages that are spacious, clean and modern in design. We stayed for two nights in the soa cottage named Debbie Owen’s. "Beautiful, comfortable cottage suitable for a single or couple. Great location- close to Sandy Bay shops and restaurants. Walking distance of Battery Point ( depending on fitness level). Easy street parking right out the front. Everything you need for a short term or longer term stay! "

"This was a great stay between Strahan and Hobart and close to the Mt Field National Park, where we did Russell and Horseshoe falls. The accomodation was clean and very comfortable. It was great to look over the fields where the alpacas lived to the mountains. The accommodation had everything we needed to be comfortable and we were instructed on what was available food wise before we came, as there are not many options once you get to Maydena. Highly recommend this place to stay."
