"There was nothing to like about this place. A/C was di not reach in the bedroom. Place was full of roaches. Drug addicts hanging around. Sign said no dogs but the room right below me had one barking all night. I had to depart early but no one is in the office until 10. Expedia had this place rated at 7.4. Expedia needs to do a better job vetting their listings. Price was 73 dollars a night."

"They had smoking rooms and non-smoking rooms we went into the smoking first and it looked like they threw the box springs in mud and just put them back in the room. We went to the non-smoking room on one bed obvious dog hair all over I have pictures and the other bed had been used. If I didn't have to give any stars they would have got zero. Unless you are absolutely desperate no matter of fact sleep outside."

"I booked a3 night stay 2 nights we had a storm and no electricity with no compensation no back up generators nothing just in dark until you weren’t.. the door locked on the handle but no other safety features the door had crackers you could see outside you get what you pay for."

"If you’re on a budget then suck it up and use them but be prepared for hardship. It smells like smoke and urine. No overnight room service for towels or etc. Breakfast is sad. Not recommended for families or children young in age. They will do their best to make things work. Pool needs to be cleaned. Otherwise housekeeping staff is fantastic!!!"

"Never again! I arrived to a trash strewn parking lot. Sitting area adjacent to filthy front door was disgusting. Dirt. Trash and cigarette butts on the ground. Worn, dirty mat at entrance. Long check-in process. Stained, dirty carpets in corridors, elevator and room. Room door propped open with heavy desk. No towels or washcloths. Interior parts of fridge displaced or missing. "There was no trash can, and the room was not cleaned very well. The towels were damp, as if they had just been used, with two of the three having stains. Luckily, I brought my own towel for traveling. The building wasn't well-kept, grass/weed growing next to the wall. It felt unsafe, and some suspicious people were hanging around the entrance and the hallway."

"I stayed here because the reviews Expedia showed were okay (should’ve checked google). The lobby seemed fine but as soon as we walked into our building it smelled like an animal shelter. It’s obvious people had cats/dogs and did not clean up after them. The place had so many roaches alive and dead and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. There was also burn marks on the comforter and the tv didn’t work. Our stay was only for the night so it’s fine and I didn’t fear for my safety...

"Hi, I stayed at Quality Inn Hampton, New Port- News in Room 602, from 6/25/26 to 6/27/26. The room was filthy and smelled bad. Sink was clogged, shower had no pressure and only dripped, and the iron sprayed water on my clothes. This was unacceptable. I’m requesting a full refund for my stay. Please reimburse my credit card.
