"Excellent "

"I stay here all the time. It is my go to place in Bridlington, because it is like coming home at the end of the evening and I feel like a member of the family. I cannot pretend it is luxury but if you aren't after 5 star it's great. Right by the sea and the theatre, a few restaurants close by and a 5 or 10 minute walk to the town. Breakfast is huge and I famously have never finished one. This place may not be to everybodys tastes, but I love it and them, especially Gus the dog."

"Except for the fact no one was there when I arrived (they had emailed me but I hadn't seen it) It was a comfortable place to stay and breakfast was delicious. It was in a perfect location for my plans. The owners were very friendly."

"Lovely place to stay. Great hosts, really friendly and very helpful. Fernleigh is on a nice quiet street. A couple of good pubs just round the corner. The owners even mòved their car so we could tuck our motorbike on the drive. Would recommend without question. Oh,and a first class breakfast with proper tea!"

Our bedroom was excellent with a great double bed with a beautiful shower and bathroom! and tea making facilities in the room the breakfast was outstanding she certainly takes care of her guests highly recommended!!"

"Loved it. Would consider staying again. Nice touches in room, small fridge with complementary milk, soft drinks and water, as well as the usual teas and coffee. Nice bathroom. Location at the top near the post office. And free parking was a good bonus in an area where parking spaces are few."

Pickering itself was limited if you wanted evening meals and not just pub food but we found an Indian restaurant within a 2 minute walk from the hotel which was recommend."

"The owners were very courteous and friendly. We only stayed the one night, but we were impressed with the condition and standard of the room. All the little extras were extreamly thoughtful, inc a small sewing kit, playing cards, a fridge with fresh milk, plenty of tea, coffee and biscuits, toiletries, iron, radio, tissues, water, immaculately clean linen and towels. Breakfast was tasty and filling with a variety of hot food as well as cereals, fruit, toast and juice. Very highly recommended....

"The property has some maintenance issues that need sorting. Carpet to bathroom and bedroom is loose. Its a curved staircase and its very dangerous. I asked about fixing it which i was told would be done by handyman. All he did was tuck it in so within a day was loose again which caused an accident. Bathroom is damp and paint and plaster is peeling off. Few other bits as well need sorting. Its a nice central place with lovely views. The owner has said it is getting an overhaul soon and all these...
