"The location was ideal for what we had come to the area for, the staff were very friendly and helpful and the portions of food for both lunch and dinner were far too much for the average person. On the down side, no breakfast. A chewy bar is not my ideal way to start the day and I would have much preferred a feather filled pillow"

"A hotel and restaraunt where we love to stay. Great food and terrific staff. This visit spoiled by the room allocated - #6 - located on a corner with frequent periods of outside noise in the evening and obstructed access in the morning."

"Really lovely room with top end furnishing. Room in a converted stable block - our room was closest to the road which was really quite noisy. Next time would ask for one at the far end. Food was excellent. Thumbs up overall"
