"Although it was not expensive, I chose what I thought to be the best hotel in Budenheim. The front desk was friendly, however there are no house phones to reach anyone if you need anything. The accommodations were spartan--the rooms monkish and small. The duvet (there was only one) was thin with no way to ask for more. There was no refrigerator and the bathrooms were tiny and offered a sliver of soap and a minuscule body wash. Parking was easy."

"The Spritzenhaus is a gem in the charming city of Eltville. The room was spacious and clean. The attention to detail and kind, personalized service by the owners made us feel special. It was a short, easy walk past half-timbered houses to the pedestrian area shops, the Rhine River, wine bars, and restaurants. There is much to explore in the town. We’ll be back, and look forward to staying at the Spritzenhaus again. "

"Up in the mountainside surrounded by forest lays this beautiful monastery. We visit the monastery, tried the local wine and had dinner at the restaurant. It had a great view and it was silent and nice. Our room was clean and nice and the beds comfortable. We definitely want to come back again!"

"If you have a family and you love German wine, I want to recommend this accommodation. It is located on top of hills, you can enjoy nice view with Rhien-river. I requested to take a dinner and breakfast, these were perfect and they provided warm hospitality. They have own winery, the guest can enjoy good quality wine in there. The building has a lift."
