"I recently stayed at Hotel Adler in Rudolstadt and was impressed by its unbeatable location—right in the city center, just steps from the main square, the train station, and the stunning baroque Heidecksburg Castle. The hotel is housed in a beautiful historic building dating back to 1880, which adds a lot of character and charm to the experience. The rooms are spacious, cozy, and tastefully decorated, reflecting the style of the period while still offering modern comfort. There is parking available, which is a great convenience if you’re traveling by car. One downside is that the rooms are not air-conditioned, which can be a bit uncomfortable in hot weather. However, given the age and style of the building, it’s understandable and didn’t detract too much from the overall experience. The staff is friendly, though they speak only German, which might be a bit challenging for non-German speakers. As for breakfast, it’s fairly basic—not outstanding, but perfectly adequate to start the day. Overall, Hotel Adler is a great choice if you’re looking to stay somewhere with character and a central location in Rudolstadt."

"Genuinely exceeded my expectations. The architecture is open and airy, which gives a sense of being outside, the deco is minimalist and room spacious, clean and with quality toiletries. The food both for breakfast and dinner was excellent and made of wholesome ingredients however the real strength of the hotel in my view is their staff who seemed to understand my needs and nothing was ever too much. Especially the lady in the moonlight bar who is so welcoming and when you are a solo traveller on a business trip that can make the whole difference.! thank you Dorint "

"Excellent location, city centre and ither points of interest walkable. Very clean. Comfy beds. Spacious room. Very friendly barman. Easy parking at the back of the hotel or in parkhaus hauptpost (25 eur per day) as car can only stay for 2 hours parked on the street for (ca. 4 euros). "

"Uniquely beautiful, staff are extremely polite and courteous. Breakfast buffet was phenomenal as was Restaurant and bar! Great view out patio, I spent hours setting there!"
