"It was a dry roof over our heads and warm bed. Bed, towels and bedding were a bit aged. Room was quite small and the bed was not the most comfortable. Shower pressure was quite low. But you get what you pay for and it served its purpose for the night. Plenty of space to park car.

"The room was very cold with no additional blankets.
The food was rushed and under cooked.
The breakfast started and eight there were no staff to service us even though we had informed the night before we needed to leave asap therefore we had to leave without breakfast.
All in all not a good experience"

"I needed a place to stay for one night after an evening event in Scunthorpe. Gary and Sue were welcoming and most accommodating to my need for a late evening return. Good clean room with iron and tea made available. Well worth the money."

"This farmhouse was a marvelously maintained old house. It was comfortable and warm for us to sleep upstairs. The food provided for us each morning was excellent and we had a choice about what we wanted to eat.
Parking was available for our rental car and driving the roads was an adventure in itself.
Gina, our host/owner was friendly, warm and full of local information. We enjoyed speaking with her about where to go and what to do while in the area. I would gladly go there again."
