"Good location near the Perfume river. You can walk to Imperial city but was a bit hot in July. Good breakfast, pool was ok, room was nice with good views. Curtains let in a bit of morning light but we were waking up early anyway. would stay again. Concierge was good and helped with private drivers for reasonable price. My wife had in house massage in the spa which was very good."

"We loved the hotel but we could tell it’s only recently opened. Front of house staff are super friendly and eager to please. The rooms are very comfortable and well appointed and breakfast on our first morning was exemplary, with very attentive staff. However the cracks appeared when we tried to order drinks and food to the pool, with drinks coming after the food, which took a long time to arrive. Then there were complications with the bill. Breakfast on the second morning fell short too when compared to the first day. It was perfectly fine, but because we’d had such a great experience the day before, the lack of attentiveness made us question how consistent the service really was. We also found the whole pool area to be poorly designed, a huge pool that’s hard to get into, and only has around 8 loungers and half a dozen chairs just doesn’t seem enough for a hotel of this size. Overall we loved our stay at the Grand Royal Riverside and would stay again. With some small tweaks and more experience, I think this great hotel will become truly fabulous"

"Room was clean but no well designed. Staff were excellent. Breakfast was very good.lot of choice.Balcony was convenient for smokers. Only thing I didn’t like was the charges for water bottles.They charged 52000/- v dongs for a3555 ml of water bottle when you can buy 500 ml water bottle from outside for 5000 dongs. Mark up was ridiculous. I wouldn’t mind double or triple."

"I appreciated value and location and the accommodating of this hotel. It’s centrally located but tucked away on a side street so it is nice and quiet. Everyone working the front desk was lovely - especially Linda I mentioned I was celebrating my birthday in and at breakfast she came out with a mini cake for me and played happy birthday over the speakers in the dining room. I was so touched by that gesture and she really made my birthday special. When I checked in there was even a plate of fresh fruit for me to enjoy. Breakfast at this hotel is delicious - especially the banana crepe and fresh spring rolls."
