The checkin and pool area was nice and outstanding restaurant upstairs. Good lighting and room was clean. Some small touches would push the review to a 5, like cleaner cushions by the pool.

Big rooms, bright atmosphere, great breakfast and outstandingly helpful service! Clean, no technical defects, good location in Hue. I broke a leg befome my stay and they agreed to move a non refundable fixed booking by three weeks to help me, no charges. Exemplary customer orientation!

The hotel is fairly well situated. The rooms (we had 2) were very comfortable, very well finished and clean. The WiFi was excellent. The pool area was a little small for the size of the hotel. The staff were OK. I was disappointed with the restaurant. I thought the meals they served (apart from breakfast) were pretty ordinary. Breakfast was OK, but nothing special.

This is a regular hotel. There is nothing very special about it but I have nothing bad to say either. Clean, buffet breakfast, pool etc. I would say that the rooms aren’t “soundproofed” as the ads say as they’re just regular rooms with general normal sounds coming in. Not sure what the “pillow menu” is either as we weren’t offered anything like this. Pool loses sun by around 3pm but we enjoyed it in the mornings. Location is a fair walk from the heart of Huê so we got taxis everywhere. Enjoyable relaxing stay.

The manager was very helpful, even directing us to an excellent hospital (everything turned out OK). The room, pool and surrounding area, and buffet breakfast were all very good. My only concern and it was a big one it that they put us in a room below a floor that was being renovated and we could hear a lot of noise (banging, drilling) from 8am to 5pm. worse, we were not informed of this when we checked in, nor given a discount.

Great value spot in Hue
Great little hotel. Just outside of the tourist areas. This meant it has more space than most. Had a lovely outdoor pool etc. Would recommend.

Great place to stay in Hue
This hotel had everything that we were looking for - clean, comfortable room, great breakfast and it's within walking distance to all the sights in Hue. The pool area was also beautiful and spotless. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Great Hotel at a great price!!
Stayed here for 3 nights in October 2018. We had a late arrival due to a flight delay but were welcomed with open arms by staff. They even went as far as serving us a beer even though the bar had closed. Room was a good size, very clean and well presented, there was complimentary fruit and water and in the bathroom every eventuality regarding forgotten toiletries was covered. Breakfast was good, although Southeast Asian breakfasts are not to my taste, there was plenty of fruit and typical continental type foods to ensure you were satisfied. There is a nice size pool, which is enclosed in a courtyard created by the hotel's design...the only issue here being that the amount of sun time was less than you would normally expect. I would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend, staff were friendly and helpful....

This is a very pleasant hotel with good rooms and friendly staff. However my room overlooked the road rather than the pool and there is currently construction work going on across the road. The work starts early (before 6 am). Other guests complained about the noise so think the hotel should be speaking to the construction company asking for a later start time.

Good hotel with great pool
Hotel was ideally situated for the main sites of Hue. We walked to the Citadel. A lovely pool to cool down in with attentive and friendly service from Huong at the pool bar. There is construction over the road, but did not bother us in the rooms. Room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was well presented and a good standard. A good choice for a trip to Hue.

10 minute walk to town centre/ restaurants & shopping. Varying levels of English understood by staff but always friendly. Breakfast was adequate, but same each day. Pool lost sun by 4pm, loungers always available. Bed was super hard, could be a plus for some? Fine for a shorter stay, but location average & overall pretty basic.

Good choice
We had stayed at the EMM's sister hotel in Hoi An, so this was an easy pick when we moved onto Hué. Again, the facilities were perfect for an overnight stop, with a great bar/restaurant, very nice pool and easy access to the sights and local bars.

I stayed at the EMM Hotel for one night in early February 2018. I was in room 728, which had a balcony and a nice view – without too much street noise. There is a set of rooms I would not want to be in – those facing the street on the lower floors. Mine was fine. The hotel is not super fancy, but it is nice enough and very clean. The staff was very nice. Absolutely everything in the room worked perfectly, including the free wifi, which is pretty amazing for Vietnam. The room was super clean, as were all the public areas – even the windows. Beds very comfortable to me. Breakfast was, again, not super fancy but more than adequate and served with a smile. All in all, the stay was without flaw and a good value. I can’t think of anything negative to say at all.

The rooms were spacious. Clean and pretty quiet. Good location, walkable distance to the Imperial City. The staff was nice, they arranged a tour with a driver for us and it was perfect. Nice swimming pool but too cold! Breakfast was good. Good hotel to stay for a short stay.

A great pool!
great location, walked to pretty much every thing. The room wasn't what we paid for, so the in charge person moved us, at an extra $15USD/night. The "VIP" room had a shower base that was obviously cracked, so couldn't use. We got to use a shower over a spa, that disputed squating to shower, leaked all over the floor. It was only a 3 star place, but probably only 2 star. I think we may have just been unlucky. The staff were lovely and in australian dollars, about $60/night, so not bad.

I have been to Hue 3 times in the past and have stayed in 3 different hotels, some may have been in slightly more convenient areas but with a taxi fare being about 1 dollar to the centre of town it did not matter, the Festival hotel is excellent. clean with good sized rooms. friendly staff and a good breakfast. I will stay here again, The room rate that I recieved through expedia was good.

Great for a few days.
We stayed here for four nights whilst exploring Hue and the surrounding countryside. The hotel was very good and had a nice pool. Breakfast was great, service was friendly. The hotel is a bit far from downtown, about a 10-15 minute walk to the river and the 'backpacker' section of town.

This place suited our needs just fine. The pool was clean and the air con was brilliant. (It was around 40 degrees when we were in Hue, so most appreciated). The room was clean and spacious, if a little oddly decorated with its purple walls.

Hue Visit
Front desk personnel tried to have us rent a car for an exorbitant prices even though we asked for assistance with train tickets which are significantly cheaper. Told not possible to get train tickets because of holiday. We went to the train station on our own and got the tickets. Breakfast food is not fresh, especially yogurt which was left out in heat. Overall not a good experience!

Comfortable Hotel
We enjoyed the tranquillity of this hotel. Our room had a balcony which overlooked a terraced courtyard and pool. The Buffet Breakfast which starts at 6.00am was great for early tours. At this time the range of food is fantastic but I suspect that it does not get topped up - by 8 o'clock the dregs of the coffee urn were not very satisfying!

Overall great hotel for the price. Large rooms breakfast was good, staff was nice most spoke English fairly well. Only negative was location.. little too far from River area where most tourist bar and restaurants are located...walkable but several blocks away.
