We prefer not to be right in the center of the tourist district, because the restaurants are all a rip off, and it is noisy. The Up Hotel has lots of little shops and cafes around it that locals use. "This was a brilliant hotel. Our stay here was really pleasant. The staff were very attentive. Our rooms were cleaned each day. The amenities were exactly what was needed and the location of the hotel couldn't have been better. There's plenty of options nearby for food and drinks. It's also close to public transport."

"The hotel is in a good location for transit- close to Octagon. Lots of good restaurants in the area. Rooms are very nice with modern amenities- great shower. The only thing that stopped me from giving 5 stars was the less than enthusiastic front desk and breakfast staff. They were fine- but not welcoming or enthusiastic to make your stay special. Overall a really good hotel at a moderate price point. Would recommend for sure."
