It's always wonderful staying at the Happy Hollow. The staff are amazing and the location is quiet with a very short walk into town, or a big hike up the National Park if that's in your plans.

If you are visiting Hot Springs for the trails, then this is the place to stay. Affordable, clean friendly service with easy access to trails. If we ever return to Hot Springs we will most certainly be staying here again, and anybody thinking about visiting I would highly recommend staying here.

Happy Hollow, we have stayed twice and will again. Very affordable, very clean, very quaint, it’s not a five star hotel for luxury BUT it’s a five star hotel for friendly, clean, helpful, etc. the staff was wonderful. One of the time the electricity went out due to a storm and they provided flashlights, the staff always had a smile and so very sweet. The kitchenette is equipped with dishes, the balcony has a table and chairs and the setup is so quiet and just peaceful. The beds are comfortable, comfortable blankets and pillows. We will stay here every time we go to Hot Springs.

Oldie but goodie

Great find!
Lovely room in a great location! Hiking trails across the street and they provide a jug so you can enjoy the wonderful spring water provided in the area. Really enjoyed our stay!

I like vintage motels that are clean and this one is great ! Everything is in walking distance. I highly recommend this place. It brought back memories of going on vacation with my family when I was a kid.

Vintage motel with lots of charm in a great location. Clean and quiet. Pet friendly, we were in town for the dog show. Loved the old fashioned door key. Five minute walk to downtown for sight-seeing, shopping and dining. No need to hassle with tourist parking. Access to forest trails is right across the street, great for walking the dogs. A cool spring to fill water bottles is right next door. Adjacent buildings are under construction, hench the rating of one less star for surrounding area. When construction is complete, this place will be perfect. So glad we found this place, we will be back!

It was ok a bit on the older side but was clean and neat walls are a little thin could hear the neighbors very loud and a child the screamed when they would not get there way. The young lady that checked us in was very nice and helpful.

Property has a cute kitschy look to it that i found appealing. Perfect because I don’t need loads of extras that I never use. Very very convenient to most of what we wanted to do and see. Easily walkable. Very clean and excellent a/c which was very much needed! I would book a room here again without hesitation.
