"Escaping to the country has never been more fun and magical. The resident robin and all his many friends keep you in that chilled mindset. The town of Rye was 10 mins by car and full of historical charm. It was even being used for filming while we visited. We walked from Rye to Camber sands along the cycle path and there are frequent buses back. "

"Arrived at the property and called to check in. Was told that property was closed for refurbishment and I had to go to a different property managed by them 15 minutes away. Got there and room was minimal and bare. Host was nice but it wasn’t an aparthotel as the original one was advertised as. I left and booked a night at a local Travelodge instead. "

"Some of the basics were not provided on our stay so really wasn't worth the money. Communication - didn't receive the check-in details by email as instructions said. The day before the stay I tried to contact the host multiple ways, including Hotels.com support x 2, with no luck. Eventually on the day of the stay I was told I would get the information at 12pm. At around 1pm I had not received the information so chased again. Was finally given the information at 2pm but was rudely told that...

"This is a lovely place to stay. Stuart greeted us on arrival and the Loft was warm and cosy with everything we needed including a basket of treats and eggs for breakfast. There are lovely views of the grounds and countryside. Nice walks from the property and Rye is close by car. Would thoroughly recommend. "

"Really good value for this incredibly spacious apartment. A comfortable night. A couple of touches would improve the stay even more. As previous reviewer mentioned, the only mirror is above the bathroom sink. Its on the top of the jet garage which is closed at night. "

"We had the most wonderful time staying at the Hobbit Hole. The property was incredible: well looked after and very clean. Everything has been very well thought out. We thoroughly enjoyed gazing at the scenery out the window and enjoying the peaceful area."

"I needed immediate help when the sat sav dumped me nearby & my host talked me all the way to the front door which was a huge relief. The accommodation is dated but I knew that from the photos it was very clean though & i was surprised to find all the essentials had ben left. I wasn’t expecting that so had brought it all with me. "Lovely stay at the stables. They have been converted to a high standard and were very comfortable for our family with two small children. It was great that there was a stair gate in the top bedroom as there isn’t a door. Had a nice meal at the local pub and in easy reach by car of local visiting sites. The hosts were very helpful and friendly and let us wander around their lovely garden. Would recommend. "
