"I couldn’t believe how lucky I was to be able to stay at such a fabulous property!! The hosts were so friendly and accommodating, the tapas tasting menu on the weekends prepared by their son was beyond delicious and breakfasts with Patrick started the day off perfectly. Direct train to airport and other cities or tram to historic part of city steps away. Host, Adam, is very communicative and lives on premises-- like saying at a friend's. "Amazing place to stay in the heart of the old town, just a few minutes walk from Grote Markt and the waterside. Beautiful rooms, and Nicolas was a welcoming host and made sure we had everything we needed. "

"Choose the grand double room which going by the images we were put in the standard room. Free Parking which was one of my key requirements turned out not to be free, but 15e per day. "Na het boeken kreeg ik de bevestiging binnen waarin stond dat ik tussen 15.00 en 18.00 kon inchecken. Gezien mijn reis zakelijk was zou ik pas om 21.00 aankomen. Even een belletje en geen probleem dat ik op dit tijdstip kon komen. Bij aankomst vriendelijk ontvangen. Locatie is mooi rustig gelegen en de kamer netjes en comfortabel. 's Morgens stond er een uitgebreid en lekker ontbijt klaar. Alles met elkaar een super fijn verblijf!"

Good base for visiting Brussels, Ghent and Brugges. Local restaurant/bar the Café Exter well worth a visit. Plenty of local parks for a gentle stroll. Thoroughly enjoyable break."
